Ghosts of the Deep Final Boss
So my fireteam and I have gotten to the final encounter in the new dungeon. We know the mechanics, can get to damage phase multiple times, however, we're encountering an issue that seems to soft lock the encounter.
After several damage phases already, when activating deep sight to see which spots to dunk at, no triangle will appear. We continue that round like normal, activating the symbols, but when we go to dunk, no one can dunk at any of the spots.
Is there something we're missing, doing too fast, etc? I haven't seen any posts talking about any issues.

So it seems to only happen when trying to unlock all nodes of the triangle and then going to get the buffs from Lightbearers. My team did this three separate times and soft locked the encounter each and every time without fail. But when we unlocked a node then went to get the buff, one at a time, that worked. So do each node to completion, one at a time. Deepsight to see location of nodes, kill required knight within correct node area, align ring and symbol by sighting down weapon, check symbol, go into caves to find said symbol and kill that Lightbearer thus receiving its Vestige buff. Go grab Deepsight and deposit buff at correct node. Repeat this for the next two nodes. Unleash Hell on boss. Good luck and I hope someone figures out what EXACTLY causes it to softlock as, I personally, would prefer to prep all nodes first and then go grab the buffs (3 nodes, 3 buffs, 3 fireteam members….koinkydink??) as it at least seems to be faster. I haven’t timed it so it might be slower. Lolz

Same thing happen to my team and I. We weren’t able to deposit our runes and we couldn’t see the triangle shape section that is prompt on the screen when activating deep site, we could only see the orbs in the corresponding section

3 답변작성자: Mithada 5/28/2023 8:41:35 PMI just reported this exact same issue. The soft lock on the final boss is frustrating. We did the all nodes at once method and soft locked the boss every time except the first one. Our very first run we made it to 20%hp and 3 damage phase activations with two people activating nodes and a third doing add clear. I will try the method suggested by hiddensong. Edit: Has anyone tried doing two instead of 3?
