Name change
Returning player after about 2 ½ years only to discover that the name has been changed to "Guardian9145" (thanks bungie genius). So i sign in here on bungie.net. Go to settings - > "identity settings" and in the "Bungie name" field i try changing it.
I try putting in the same name i used before this change. It's even the suggested name from my linked PSN account. But it wont let me swap.
I push save settings, and it says "your settings have been saved" but nothing changes!?
I can't change my avatar picture no nothing yet it claims it saves?
I don't really care about the avatar but i really want to change the name.
Can anyone help?
If a mods able to do it, I'd like to have my old name back (the one recommended by Steam and PSN)
There's no profanity and no i have not swapped names before (i know you only get one).
Please help.

You can try a different name if you have not previously changed it.[/b] If the system is not allowing more changes, there is no way to override it. What names have you tried thus far? Additionally, I am not privy to what portion of the name policy or code of conduct your name was running afoul of. All I can advise is that once the name has been moderated by Bungie, it is no longer available for use. If you have a name change available still, you can change it to a different name.
