Can't over deliver, but can overcharge

1 답변All these smooth brains saying "just don't buy it". It's not that we don't want to spend money on the game. The fact of the matter is, we're spending our money because we want to play the game. Witch Queen by itself was worth spending on, same with Forsaken. I'm sure there's more things worth the cost that Bungie has created. However, they have substantially lessened how much content they ship out whilst increasing the price. There's no other game like destiny, therefore it's the biggest shark in the competition. Due to that fact, they can get away with cutting costs and increasing the retail price. Because the consumers (us players) have no other successful game, to switch to. They also have a lot of leeway in making decisions that no one asked for and/or don't want. For example, the increase to difficulty for patrols; Airborne Effectiveness; the new Trials system that no one likes, yet it's shipping anyways; the PvP Sandbox metas. There's countless things Bungie has done, that warrants no reason for them to increase the price. They haven't given us any evidence to justify why they're increasing the price. The confidence of the community is low, but it's not like they can put that confidence anywhere else. Even if this new season flops harder than this one, it doesn't matter. People are still gonna buy it. For Bungie, that's a win.

3 답변Season of the cash grab, started a long long time ago and has never ended. I voted with my wallet when season of the light (content) dropped. Waited for the reviews this time, after cancelling my pre order, after the -blam!- show of crap we saw before it, and I'm glad I did! Did plan on buying it when the price fell, but cudn be arzed when I saw the same old crap being pedelled the same ol way, by the same ol bungie. U know what, it did me a favour, I've fell out of love with the game, and got out and smashed my gym career, and in turn, my health and diet. Can't see me coming back, if I do I certainly won't commit the hrs I've done in the past, cos bungie don't value your investment. Recognise them for the corporate greedy company they truly are, and treat this as a burnt out game that's only still here to squeeze out the few dollars left from the wonderful loyal fans, and u won't go far wrong. If I'm done why am I writing this u may ask. Pure boredom at work, nothing else 😂

Proof that a live service game can grow mechanically into something new each year. Is bungie operating from another planet I wonder. Because they just can't do anything that comes close, but it seems to break their bank account by the way they trap players into price hikes. I uninstalled destiny 2 today, but I'm gonna stick around to see the karma train wreck.

It's the nail in the coffin for me. I get treated like garbage for trying to play the game for free, and now all my friends have to pay more for the same mid content with nothing extra whatsoever. Penny pinching money hungry scumbags.

Over the last year we've generally, for $10, received: -raid or dungeon (even if it's reprised they still had to hand-port) -seasonal story -seasonal activity or two -new subclass or subclass revamp -new exotic(s) -exoric mission -6ish legendary weapons -numerous sandbox updates -new artifact mods

3 답변this is just too funny. Like I've said before, people won't blink an eye on spending $5 on a cup of coffee EVERY DAY, but will whine and cry on spending a couple of $$ on a game. Maybe some folks just need to find a cheaper hobby.

14 답변i already paid for the seasons with lightfall, and even i am considering stopping playing just on general principle. Bungie's arrogance is amazing and they treat the players like garbage. A really poor DLC and season, countless bugs and problems, followed by a price increase. Pretty disgusting.

1 답변The worst part is that "you" have to pay more for getting less: like existing content, just modified and existing events, also just modified. Just the same; just for more... Of course the creativity (of Bungie) goes somewhere else why there is a permanent reuse of content since the launch of Destiny 2 - in that case, Bungie has REALLY over delivered.

28 답변If you had bought the yearly pass it would have been cheaper. You this much of a last minute shopper when it comes to dinner too? If so I see you spending a lot more on prepared food if you eat like you buy video game content, at the absolute last minute then cry about the price. You do realize with the amount of free to pay players they have to charge us paying customers more to support the parasite community who thinks they should get all the seasonal content for free even though other players paying for content is what makes the game free for them to play in the first place? Or were you too busy being outraged you missed the cheaper price tag?

5 답변More reissued crap that we already paid for and now its even more expensive to pay for it twice! Awesome, sounds like a good deal! Please guys, just stop playing the game. Stop supporting this disgusting company. I quit the game shortly after lightfall and literally entirely stopped. (until now cause i set my goal to get the reveler title a year ago and i finish what i start) But after finishing that title, i will instantly quit again and stop giving them any sense of playtime. Stuff needs to change. Only 2 things these clowns listen to are $ and player engagement. Please atleast stop giving them playtime guys, our life time is more valuable than spending it in this greed infested capitalism fiesta.
