The state of the game at the moment is down to bad leadership and management decisions. The philosophy they follow now at bungie is a terrible one, and it is showing with every change they make. Unfortunately and worryingly, this seems to be happening a lot in other various failing industries, it isn't good.

I don’t care if they care or not. These changes are terrible and the suits think everything is fine. Terrible management kills more games than any other reason. The idiots in charge just count money and stock options and could give a -blam!- if we like it. Successful games don’t mean games that are good. They mean money for management and shareholders.

Based off the quality of lightfall, the last season and general health of the games function it seems like destiny 2 is being run by a skeleton crew. I could understand this and even be more patient with Bungie if they’d just tell us where the work force of the game is being siphoned to; I might be able to empathize a little better with the current situation. However, Bungie has not been transparent with this nor has it expressed interest in actually mending these issues in a long term fashion (specifically the games overall functional health). I know the people who are working on Destiny 2 do care and try their hardest because a part of them lives in this game and it’s their art, unfortunately I don’t think the studio itself cares about the game anymore.

The success of the game is literally their livelihood so yes they definitely care about it. The discrepancy is about what bungie chooses to prioritize in their work (plus considerations of what is possible and how long things take to do) vs what players say they want.

I definitely do think they care. But, I think there are other forces at work. (the people in finance, for example, that may care more about engagement than they should, perhaps short-staffed, bad leadership, I dunno). It's hard for me to believe people creating this world and game don't care. There's something else to blame here, it's just hard to tell exactly what it is because we aren't seeing things behind the scenes.

Weird question. Do they care about our personal well-being? Obviously not why would they? Do they care if we enjoy the game? Yes they obviously do. Do you think they want less money? They’re just a poorly managed studio. These kind of posts are irrelevant and dumb.

Absolutely not. The way Bungie have handled the game since the launch of lightfall is abysmal. They clearly only care about getting people's money from yearly, overpriced expansions and then continue to try and suck players dry with overpriced stuff in the eververse store

I don’t really care what it is because Bungie has shown me how much they actually care about their products. I’m really excited about that Cyberpunk 2077 DLC though. Also, it’s DOUBLE XP WEEKEND in CoD: Modern Warfare 2!

No. It was obvious they didn't care about any of the work put into Lightfall when they unveiled it. Yet most still bought it............ Watching all this buyer's remorse is amazing. I just wish I could get refunded for all my purchases since HoW considering how badly this product has devolved.

Its not there mission to care about the players. But to make a game you will spend money on . If there is a exploit they are over it . Not because it hurts players ,but because it hurts destiny. They cant have people getting everything the game has and get bored with it and move on. That's why its nerf after nerf ,to keep you in the hunt. Best thing anyone can do is just play the parts you like and forget the rest. Have fun for you ,and play it your way . After all you paid to play it anyway you like.

2 답변People say this every season. And play the next season. Cycle repeats, Few guardians showed commitment by deleting their characters. Maybe it’s time for you all to start doing something drastic to send that message. Stop playing, delete your characters, do something.
