As a casual with this difficulty me and the few people I know in IRL can’t keep up. We’ve tried and there’s not much fun to be had at this point. If changes we will probably be back. D2 has given us some fun times!
Good luck to everyone else and hope you’re enjoying d2 in its current state

I feel the same. I'm not pretty good. I don't play any other games. I went from TR to D2. I am not the target consumer, I understand. However, I have bought everything since Forsaken and I do feel unwelcome. I finally finished legend campaign last weekend. I'm at 1785. I'm still not interested in playing on reset day. That's new for me. I always felt the complaints were caused by Bungie making something for everyone, consequently, never enough for any one group. I hope there is enough for some cause there isn't much for me.

Noone enjoys D2 in its current state. Even pve'ers have nothing to do in the game already and its week 3 of a major DLC. Everyone is chasing a broken op smg in trials that will get nerfed in a few weeks anyways. You see noone run the "raid" already cause it was just boring and bad. All the other content was finished in like 3 days. We get less and less for paying more, we love capitalism.

You made the right choice. This is the only way to send the message to Bungie: LEAVE THE GAME We have to do this together en masse just like Y1. Otherwise they will continue with their nonsense.

What is that difficult now that upsets you to this degree? I am legit curious how this stuff is complained about.

stop using casual for bad players, casuals are not bad players and bad players are not casuals

The over dramatization of the difficulty revert on these forums is hilarious. People need to realize that not all games are designed to be an easy, casual experience & not every developer desires to make a game with no challenge. If you can't keep up with people that are good at basketball while playing hoops - it doesn't mean that basketball is too hard of a game. It just means that you're not at the competing level of others around you. Whether that be due to lack of honing your skill, physical &/or mental abilities/ capabilities, or lack of trying - the game isn't "too difficult." But the game may not be "for you" &/or you may need to invest into the games systems &/or you may need to self reflect on what you are doing well & what you need improvements on and work on your skills. Like many other things in life, this game isn't concerned with your feelings whether it's "too difficult". That's not going to change or may not change much in the coming years. The question is will you allow something so petty & absurd ruin something you seem to love very much, or will you step up, get better at a hobby you enjoy, and realize that investing into a hobby you enjoy, developing skills in a hobby you enjoy, and accomplishing goals in a hobby you enjoy is the real satisfaction in life?

Just a heads up and I wish more people would actually pay attention to this because it would have saved a hell of a lot of gamers the headache. This business pulls this BS a lot that what has taken place should have been a no-brainer to most to not buy LF. Now if you are a new player, that is understandable not knowing how this business works, and you got caught up in their nonsense. This business plays way too many childish games with their player base, feeding them all kinds of nonsense, better known as manipulation because that is all they have to offer these days. Drop this game like a bad habit because it is not going to get any better. They did this to drag out their mediocre content and will feed the fans more nonsense on how "they plan on improving things", and a lot will take the bait. Umm, hello, if they would stop playing their childish games, they wouldn't have to be constantly changing things and wasting all kinds of time and resources as they have been for 6 years now. It's a no-brainer why a hell of a lot of talent left this business and Activision dropped them.

The game has an identity problem. Are we a powerful Guardian who grinds pinnacles to get stronger? Or do we just grind to the minimum required level for X and then always be a weak feeling regular human? Might as well take our light, dark, and space magic away and call us "Rank and File Privates fighting tanks with BB guns." If streamers wanted a more difficult game, add in a difficulty option called "Elite Streamer Badass" and have no revives, 1 hit kills from every enemy, 30 minute super cooldowns, 10 minute ability cooldowns, team wipes to orbit, non stunnable champions, all stats at a baseline of 30, no exotics allowed, limited ammo reserves on primaries, and the whole thing is timed at 45 minutes. Once you select the difficulty mode, your account is locked until you complete it. And what are the rewards you ask? Nothing. Absolutely -blam-ing nothing. You get your account back. Have fun!

I’d advise to put on a void energy and void heavy MG and get a volatile flow mod from artifact. Given you use synthos you can get a decent build that will focus on getting your super fast with melee on medium adds and shred everything else with volitile rounds from your energy + MG. With void syphon this will create orbs that will heal with the mod on your legs Add wishender or witherhoard to your kinetic slot and you’re set. Don’t forget to smash tangles as they will give you additional damage resistance. Put on void surge in your legs for even more damage on your weapons Once you hit 1800 you will dominate mid range PVE and handle yourself efficiently in endgame

It’s time to go. There is nothing here anymore. This is what happens when you have an 8 year old broken and empty game run without creativity. These guys can’t do squat anymore. Hahahahahahaha! Welcome to hollowness!
