RON is so nearly great, but its a two player raid

only two people are required to engage with the mechanics in ron (even in encounter 3). it really feels like a d1 raid with how easy it is to blag your way through it on ad clear. my simple fixes: encounter 1 - two random people are chosen. only they can run encounter 2 - two random people are chosen per floor, one for light, one for dark. only they can run on that floor encounter 3 - two random people are 'inhibited'. they cannot move planets encounter 4 - two random people are chosen, one for light, one for dark. only they can run. pls do this bungo i dont like raids that let people complete it without engaging with the mechanics.

  • In all fairness, 3 players can have the same impact in Vow. You can trio that raid with not even a speck of cheese needed.

  • ron is a very good raid, the only problem are the boss hp , other than that is refreshing to have a chill raid like ron

      I'd honestly say both encounter 3 and 4 are fine, mostly held back by low boss hp and not their mechanics. Maybe aside from being able to speed past Nezzy's wipe mech Encounters 1 and 2 requiring 1 - 2 people actually doing mechanics is pretty rough though. Especially when the mechanic is what we just had in the most recent dungeon Edit: I'd say the sweet spot for me is probably 4 people doing mechanics at any point in an encounter, with potential to get everyone involved at some point. Rotating Relics in Exhibition comes to mind

        It really is disappointing how every encounter has at least 2 people not doing anything and can easily be done with 4 people not doing anything like youre just going to have 2-4 people throughout the whole raid doing the equivalent of defending obelisks at acquisition, its horribly designed. i wish raids were like spire where everyone had to be engaged somehow, or like the redux oryx where everyone has a thing and a guy gets randomly chosen. the way the raid plays makes it a very believable theory that the 1,2,4 encounters were cut from what was supposed to be a nezarec themed dungeon and pasted into a raid because it is absurd for raid encounters to be this simple by the standards of literally every other raid ever
