Trying to play through many parts of the game right now is a slog and makes me want to not play.
1) Lost sectors are an even more broken mess now, the enemies there even in legend are worse than contest mode enemies (over 4 adept hezen vengeance shots couldn't kill a champion, this killed anything in contest mode), this doesn't make sense. it takes forever for a regular player to get through one and your options are have an extremely cracked build and skip everything or spend 30-40 minutes slowly killing the enemies and chipping away at the boss' health because unless you have an ability spam build regular weapons will run out of ammo before the boss dies. The loot is awful, if you are an average player it means running the same boring lost sector 5-15 times and most likely having to do multiple flawless runs because 15 minutes is no longer enough with the new difficulty upscale, the Neomuna lost sectors are a complete joke, extremely long, the hydroponics lost sector basically throws you into a pit of enemies coming from all 4 sides to die. If you are going to make lost seconds this hard either extend the time to 30 minutes, remove the revive tokens while the 15 minutes are going and guarantee an exotic every run.
2) Nightfalls are a torture, any new or average player was previously able to enjoy the hero difficulty but now it's basically legend closer to master, woulnd't it be better to keep the old difficulties but make them all matchmade except maybe master and grandmasters. The Mars battleground is the worst activity to make a nightfall, i join nightfalls and it's people 20-30 minutes in the door hack area at the beginning, it shouldn't take this long, and the only reason it joins me directly here is because everyone keeps leaving because they get tired of the NF, the lasers instakilling is really annoying specially with the timers and i don't want to imagine in GM, Kelgorath instakilling even at max resilience with his speed is incredibly annoying.
3) Neomuna is really boring, it takes forever to kill any enemy and you are forced to only use special weapons, having to do 100 or more terminal overloads for the triumph with enemies that take 2-3 magazines is really boring
4) Primaries are useless now unless you are running regular strikes, spending 2-3 magazines on a single red bar enemy is a real issue, you are forced to use certain exotic primaries or go double special most primaries are useless in the content with the new difficulties
5) Season of the seraph had a much better approach to difficulty, the content there was harder but still fair and still allowed to use most weapons while only requiring some adjustments to your build, throwing things under a 15-30 power penalty makes things too hard for no reward at all in many cases being harder than contest mode.

I agree 100% the difficulty is too much for a patrol space. I don’t feel as powerful as I used to. Even the Thresher during the Terminal Overload activity is overwhelming. I been playing this game for years, and the difficulty spike this time around does not make this fun at all. I’m just trying to play to enjoy my night. I’m not a elitist streamer. Why does bungie cater to these people so much?

Gilded conqueror , The shear amount of none stop respawning sponge ads is over cooked . Bringing heist battle grounds on steroids into a weekly strike is well... nothing more to say on that. Arc class got benched , mod system could use a seeking orb mod at the bare minimum. I liked the art work they did ,but the story line well enough on that as well. All and all the game no longer feels the same. Getting nerfed into the next dimension leaves us with bad feelings and adds a toxic frustrated environment. Where once being a guardian was powerful and fun. Now feels more like going fishing for a shark with a cane pole, just hoping the boat don't sink for the majority of the player base. That would be a avoidable tragedy.

I did the mars battleground nightfall last night for the pinnacle on just HERO mode and my blueberries were getting slaughtered left and right. Literally to the point of them quitting. I can’t imagine this being a grandmaster but we will see how it goes

Or, like you say, if they were going to match make into something this difficult, why do they insist on not matchmaking for other difficulties or activities? I'm all for having all kinds of options. I'm glad things are more difficult, and I don't mind being match made into this difficulty. But, the problem is they aren't consistent with how they matchmake, and they take away the lower difficulty options Take tons of options away, while making this god forsaken Hero Nightfall. I don't get it. The only decent-ish primary, imo, is Osteo Striga, it never lets me down. But, I really shouldn't have to use it all the time. As for Neomuna, I don't mind that very much. I have noticed that as we grow stronger in power, Neomuna becomes less boring difficulty-wise. One of the reasons for this is they aren't capping us at 1765 power. If you just grow your power and go to Neomuna, it should be ok. And, I don't mind that kind of stuff. I'm a big advocate of feeling stronger as you get stronger. This capping BS...ugh, I can't tell you how much I hate it. My biggest "Neomuna is boring" really comes from the lack of NPC's. I mean, I get why they did it, it makes sense story-wise. But, it just feels so...desolate. It makes me depressed despite all the pretty colors. lol

1 답변Never posted before, but the difficulty tuning is so bad that I feel the need to echo the sentiment. They have disincentivized light leveling for a large percentage of content, which is the primary reason players chase pinnacle gear. I want to put rewarded for the time I put in by feeling the effects of leveling higher, especially for solo content. I agree with many on here, that raising the ceiling on Raid/Dungeons makes sense, but why are we even grinding for high level gear when it will just be capped for difficult activities?

2 답변It's so obvious. The increased difficulty, is just to extend playtime. And to make up for lack of content. This game has become a running joke. They can keep selling us the same reskins because of New Lights never experiencing this stuff. And they know this. This company is very greedy and shady. Won't get another penny of my money. Osiris even made a comment to Nimbus about stealing the schematics for the Drake Tank! (Just keep reusing old content). (My opinion only).

2 답변작성자: The icon of sin 3/13/2023 2:24:25 PMDifficulty is really weird now. On my 3rd character i couldnt care to complete the legend campaign so i put it on normal to rush through. I had a build with collective obligation, i went through the whole thing without reloading. But as soon as you went to patrol on neonuma that wasnt possible anymore. After forcing this difficulty (of patrol, nightfall, etc)on the community and getting used to it, its no supprise that so many people are able to complete the day 1&2 of the raid. Now that the contest mode is gone, enemies in the raid are easier than the ones in a patrol space.

1 답변Agreed. I don’t want to have some popular build because it’s the only thing that works. I want to have my own builds and make fun the focus. The difficulty is not fun.

9 답변Dares of eternity is very hard now too. Takes like 40 minutes to clear or almost an hour if u get lightning round. All modes are too difficult. I don't even feel satisfied beating it. Just relieved it's over.

Part of the power issue is kind of a forced funnel into building. New damage mods actually are wack. I agree, I am not a fan of -15 patrol. But once I started being more intentional with builds that took most of the pressure off game play in the lower tiers. I tried soloing a master nightfall this week. I bet if I actually took the time to finish it, it would take near an hour with how scaling works now. Rough indeed.

1 답변I'm not even 1800, and can steamroll enemies in Neomuna patrol or terminal overload with primary weapons and Strand. The yellow bars in terminal overload take slightly longer but not even close to 2-3 magazines. You're either missing shots or shooting from very far.

While i really like the more beefy enemies on neomuna, i wish the rest of the game scaled accordingly. How is a newly released Raid, one of the easiest activities level-wise right now? (after contest) Why were they so eager to announce that destiny was getting harder, but yet here we are still steamrolling every part of the game EXCEPT neomuna free roam.

For example, the story missions have a limit on the number of resuscitations, making for a tough fight. On the other hand, in the case of weekly story missions, even Master has no limit and retries are easier. Master in the labyrinth was far more unreasonable than Raid's contest mode, with sniper rifles dying instantly. To be honest, I find the current difficulty level more tiring than fun. Above all, I am not satisfied now with the rewards I get from such difficulty. I'm not happy even if I'm given an overflowing supply of strengthening materials.

10 답변I had to do five solo Master Lost Sectors for guardian rank nine and each run took about 10 minutes. If it's taking you almost an hour to clear one solo on Legend that sounds like it's on you.
