So are we getting a hoverboard?
The cloudstrider guys had a hoverboard in the trailer and now my guardian is very jelly about it

1 답변Imagine an exotic glaive that doubled as a hover board. You fire shots to charge it up, hold X like with the other exotic glaives to consume shield energy and it gives you 11 seconds of hoverboard (extra speed, damage resistance, etc.)

Obviously not. Did we ever get a unique "ship" replacement? Or a truly unique ghost? Or any other out of the order unique cosmetic? Only thing that was kinda "special" got sunset and that was the nightfall/raid/trials of the nine - auras. If they sold stuff like that as a permanent guardian effect, they would make millions. I don't understand why we still only get the same old boring sparrows, ghosts, ships, ghost projections zZzZzZ They clearly want our money bad. Give us some incentive to spend it then lol. Look at games like path of exile. THAT'S desirable and unique cosmetics, destiny tho? massive LOL

Nope. Bungle can't make new content, so unless it was Vaulted form D2 or in D1 previously for a quick copy and paste, it doesn't exist. However it may be in Matter their next FPS, because all the good ideas people have suggested will be in that franchise.

I can't shake the feeling that Destiny is trying to take themes from the Marvel Universe.. We have strand.. webslinging into action in a week.. we have a hoverboard.. making the new cloudstrikers look like.. Silver Surfer.. and we have seen Captain Americas Shield and other nods the last couple years. Could Sony have wanted Destiny to expand into the movie business and rival Marvel? IS this a coincidence that these ideas and concepts are in the game?

I'm pretty sure we will. if not in Lightfall then some time next season. There are rare circumstances where boarding one of the mini sparows will make it look like you're riding a skateboard for a second before the animation defaults.

1 답변I think it’s likely we will have an opportunity to interact with it in the lightfall campaign whether that’s grappling into one or actually using one. But I don’t think we are getting one to use indefinitely.
