Bungie,
Most of us love this game, we don't want to see it die.
We are not enemies. Let's work together!
Please, don't view your customers/community as trying to "tell you what to do"
Let's work together to make the game the best it can be so we all benefit
You want player retention, design the game to be fun and rewarding and the players will come to you.
Many systems are absolutely hated by your consumers/players but seem more concerned with grind/investment than fun/reward. Reverse the order. Make fun/reward priority and you get grind investment for free!
.
You're caving to the wrong things. You relax the quit penalty, instead of addressing why people quit, they've told you, "we quit because we don't like certain maps" Relaxing the penalty doesn't fix the problem.
.
Weapon crafting involves huge time investment/little reward. Give us a system where you invest MORE time, but ADD selectable perks(like prestige) players will grind twice as hard/long. They'll grind and grind to unlock perks they don't even like/use just to get them all.
.
Blues. What difference does it make in the sum total of the game, if we interupt our game every two seconds to manually convert these 'guns' and 'armor' every single time we recieve them or if the game does it automatically?
.
Lost sector exotics. Drop rates make it feel like a waste of time. Every run should drop an exotic. The chance it's the one we want, with a high total, with good distribution, is so tiny anyway let us grind/put in the work to get what we need. No one is going to quit once they find another exotic they can easily swap for another without messing up their stats.
.
Etc etc
.
We are not your friends
We are not your enemies
We are your salvation.

2 답변This game deserves to die and never recover. How many chances have they had? Too many.

It won’t die because there will always be those people who see nothing wrong with the game, or the ones that have invested a lot of time already and will just see it through. I personally want them to fail. They are lazy, fired the people that made the game good, and clueless.

Game has been my go to for years but the seasonal model has killed my will to play. I’m playing this season since it’s already bought and paid for to get my money’s worth but Lightfall has to be something epic to bring me back and if the seasons after are all just going to be the same cookie cutter none sense then I’m out. I’m bored with the game so much so that I canceled my preorder. I’m not mad just really not enjoying the game as much as I used to. Core playlists need some TLC to reinvigorate the gameplay loop imo. We’re still running strikes from 5 years ago and the new battlegrounds are not that innovative to be considered memorable.

2 답변It’s clear that Bungie has moved onto other games and has a team left on Destiny that doesn’t like the community. Things like adding aerial effectiveness to a sniper rifle. They’re trolls. Don’t have to finish the saga if the people who play the game all leave.

2 답변It's over bro. I wasn't even bothered until the season dropped yesterday. I saw the empty towers, got solo loaded into strikes, couldn't find a group to run DSC for craftable loot. All that tells me it's over. In 2 weeks it'll be a ghost town. I'm cancelling my LightFall pre-order now bc it looks like finding a raid team could be an issue. That's a literal waste of money.

The game is working exactly as Bungie intends it to work. They have been 'perfecting' their vision for this game for years. It is where it is now because they made it in a way that makes them the most profit with the least effort. Every single decision they have made, every detail you mentioned, every single aspect has been tuned to 'perfection' with that in mind. They are not going to 'listen' or 'care'. It's not 'love' what drives them. It's profit. This game is dying and they know it. They are already moving on with other projects, but they still want to squeeze as much money as possible with the least effort before the end. I used to love this game. I used to give Bungie the benefit of the doubt. I used to believe they would do better next time, even when they screwed up monumentally. Not anymore. Time to wake up and move on. R.I.P. Destiny.

6 답변작성자: pale(rider) 12/7/2022 5:33:04 PMI’m happy to see it die. When it does hack Bungie devs will actually have to work like the rest of us. I’m convinced Bungie employees live in a clown world like all the former twitter employees. Bungie needs an Elon to get these trash devs to start actually working like the rest of the world.

I kind of want to see it die. Every 3rd enemy teleports so much that I wish it were Crucible so I could report them for lag switching. (a launch day issue from back in 2017 that is only getting worse) The opening mission of the new season was bugged for me, and all the enemies just stood there like it was an awkward prom and everyone was waiting for someone to ask them to dance. Then once I decided to see how the new Competitive works (a rare thing for me to play Crucible), Our 3 man fireteam all get a quitter warning while we're STILL IN MATCHMAKING. There is somehow a notification on my seasonal challenges that says I completed one, even though there isn't a completed one to claim. Eris has a quest icon over her head all the time, but no active quests to do for her. Failsafe is missing from Nessus on my Titan character for some unknown reason. There's even more, but that's enough for now.

작성자: Dredgen Truth 12/8/2022 1:43:59 PMThis game, this series, has been through worse. People keep saying that the game is getting lower highs and lower lows, which i personally dont buy. I remember there being a time where we had like 20k players back in season 5, which is abysmally low, even compared to now. And even if that was true, which i doubt, is it any surprise that an 8, soon to be 9 year old franchise is seeing a dropoff in numbers? People are gonna grow tired of it with time. People are gonna leave. There are very few exceptions to this. Very few games can retain high player numbers for as long as destiny has. The game will live. If it could live through season of the worthy, curse of osiris, d1y1, d1y2 content droughts, and plenty more perilous times i dare not mention, itll live through this.

1 답변This game wont die. It will get bad and boring if less and less people play. But it wont die. There are games still around with fractions of this player base.

Honestly, as much as I love this game, I legitimately kind of hope it dies. Maybe if Bungo suddenly notices that their main cash-cow isn’t bringing in the big bucks anymore, that might shock them into waking up and maybe changing for the better. I feel like change is more likely to occur if that happens than it is by us just sitting around, playing the game same as always.

You have a good point about the crafting system. What I want is to take my already existing austringer that’s crafted with rangefinder, and then also sink in more materials into that same Austringer so I can unlock opening shot on it too, to switch between the perks at will whenever I want.

7 답변작성자: The Hermit IX 12/7/2022 9:43:18 PMGame isn’t going anywhere. It’s at a low right now due to several reasons. Several new games, players being burned out on the seasonal model and issues they’ve started to address. They have more money than god and have no plans on letting Destiny die. Very dramatic take and the game always has peaks and valleys. Either take a break or enjoy the season. LF will be filled with players and business as usual.
