I don't mind power in movement, even if it breaks (what I think is) intended map design/game flow. I think Solar lock's in a pretty good spot, as it's primarily just gunplay with more movement and positioning tech as its main gameplay loop in PvP. I just dislike that with Solar 3.0, you can move extremely fast while also having overtuned (imo) heal nades.
But I'd rather play against that than some of the really egregious outlier builds, like infinite crystal spam from Behemoth, or the strongest Void 3.0 builds for Titan and Hunter. The former is just somewhat annoying, while things like the latter options listed make the game borderline unplayable at higher levels.
Call me old-fashioned, but for me, PvP was most fun from around Warmind (Season 3) to around Chosen (Season 10). And since then, it's just been on a steady decline aside from Rumble (RIP) and Private Matches.
