Xbox Account Banned - Cross-Save?
Hello - So my Xbox Account i've had for years got banned, without going into details about that i have some questions regarding D2 Cross-Save Characters.
My Questions Being: Since my Main account that was banned was linked to Bungie.net if i were to unlink it to let say add a new Account, since i mainly play on steam. Would i lose my Characters on Steam?
Since my Account is banned - I've checked My D2 on Steam everything is fine. Just want to know if could migrate my stuff to PC and use Cross-Save on a different Xbox account
I have a balance of Silver so i can't Deactivate Cross-Save - if i did and i removed my Xbox from it will i still see my Cross-Save characters on Steam?
Thank you for everyone commenting on my post, i was dumb and i allowed this to happen. I will not change a thing as long as i can still play which is fine in the end

작성자: Dopefriik 11/23/2022 5:41:58 PMData cannot be migrated. If the characters were on that Xbox account then that is what they are tied to. You’ll find that you can’t unlink the Xbox account if you wanted to as doing so requires logging into the account to verify it. ** Edit: ** At least that’s my understanding of things, haven’t touched cross-save myself.

2 답변Bungie does not transfer characters from one account to another. To unlink an account you must be able to authenticate all accounts. If not cross save is permanent.

So no, you wont. if you want to keep those characters - you'd only be able to play on Steam as you'd leave the setup as it currently is. If you start over, you might not be able to deactivate cross-save since Xbox wont let you sign into the banned account, so you'd need to use a different Steam account.

3 답변작성자: FluffyBunnyFeet 11/23/2022 5:49:50 PMIf your main account is Xbox, and not Steam, you're screwed. You can't unlink without verification of both accounts, so with an Xbox ban, you have lost everything. There is no migration.
