Thanks to the new Mechabre, I got more interested in using snipers, at least in PvE (PvP is out of question for me at this point).
But to say I'm bad at sniping would be an understatement.
I can do with scout rifles and pulse rifles, but snipers are pretty hard for me.
So I'm looking for stuff that makes it easier for me to use these weapons or help me get better with them.
I'd be grateful for help/feedback

Same. I feel it’s pretty much just practice. Using them in strikes like a primary weapon is a good idea. My personal favorites are Cloudstrike and Succession. As a controller player, I have a hard time hitting crits repeatedly if I’m shooting at the max RoF, so high impacts like Succession, Mechabre, or Borealis I’ve found to be more my style. For PvE it’s not like you need to do anything crazy to be decent with them. Don’t worry about soom values or whatnot. Snipers are a lot about feel. You don’t need to get deep in the weeds, just experiment around until you find some you enjoy using that feel accurate to you.

Don’t shoot until you know you are going to hit where you want. Don’t just drag across and fire when you think it will hit where you want. Even if you have to stand there for 10 seconds tracking your target, do it. If you want a controlled environment, there is a shooting range in the enclave behind the Relic. It grants infinite ammo. It could help for switching between targets.

Hey Guardian. I wanted to improve my Sniping since... ever. Now, after many months of practice, I basically Snipe everyday in PvP, I'm incredibly comfortable with Snipers both in PvP and PvE, I have a good collection of Snipers for every occasions and I've reached the point where I'm even able to make PvP Sniping Montages. And everything started with this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0eQDW7EXk_c&ab_channel=ShadowDestiny This Guide helped me to understand SO MANY THINGS and to learn how to practice and improve. If you can, give it a look and then practice, practice, practice. Practice won't make you perfect, but will make you improve. And that's what you want to look at: IMPROVEMENTS. Small and continuous improvements. I've spent the last Season ONLY in PvE (I didn't play one single PvP Match) and collected more then 5.000 kills in PvE with the Cloudstrike to improve my aim, my centering, my air cross placement, how to deal with zoom, movements ecc. I've reached a point in which it became as natural as breathe to simply ADS on enemies' heads. Just find a good Sniper you like and you find comfortable with, go in PvE, and use it in every occasion.

Then just endlessly practice but don’t swap between snipers with a big zoom difference (stick to 44-50). Snipers take the longest out of every weapon to master, you don’t need to master them for use in pve but you will still need alot of practice especially with the absurd flinch of pve. The flinch is why I pretty much never snipe in pve but almost exclusively snipe in pvp.

6 답변I'm being honest here, git gud. And by that I mean practice. I'm the same, I struggle with snipers so I used them for month solid (strikes and other random stuff that's not massively important). Start with targeting adjuster mod and get one with moving target to begin with and then start changing it up with not relying on the crutches of aim assist also Cloudstrike
