They will continue to sell it, if people continue to buy it. The only way the upgraded pass is going away, is if the majority of the community all decided to stop buying them.

Don’t buy it. I buy anything I like in the game. I support the shop lol. With that said the upgraded cards are lame so I don’t buy them. Put some good stuff in it and I’ll pay. I would love to read the meltdowns if they put incredible ornaments in it and super cool emblem. Oh if they ever do I’ll make a double batch of popcorn to read for hours.

$15ish for cosmetics, $10 for community event cards as well as emotes, $5 for a ghost shell. It’s honestly embarrassing how much bungie thinks these garbage things are worth, when most players just wait for it to be in the bright dust store. Instead of pumping out terrible cosmetics and just general garbage to flood your inventory, maybe they should actually put forward the effort, I mean they have multiple teams working on content I’d assumed constantly but my god how hard is it to not release yet another go here slay enemies then go here fight boss content. Give us something unique and interesting, at least pretend to care about the game. You know how many times I’ve loaded up the game just to sit in orbit for 5 minutes then log off? Tooo many times to count, repetitive content, unrewarding loot, and a large emphasis on microtransactions. Parting with activision was not a good thing, activision kept them in line and forced them to use the game as a creative outlet instead of using it as their personal wallet. So many different things I want to rant about, the sorry state of pvp, the fact that gambit is somehow still in the game, the terrible weapon balancing and them begrudgingly putting out weapon patches, why are kinetic specials and energy primaries the only things worthy using now, what happened to having a kinetic primary and why do they all suck so bad now? Tailor making metas and forcing players into locked load outs in not endgame activities just to deal with champions(another mechanic that needs a giant rework). The game hasn’t felt good since forsaken, the only good about witch queen was the campaign, content being ripped away from us what feels like randomly, the blatant apathy shown toward their own player base, the blatant favoritism between classes, it’s just an awful game overall, they appease the casuals and streamers and leave nothing for the people who’ve been playing the game for what feels like an enternity now. I used to come home from school and grind the -blam!- out of this game every single day and now…..I can’t even bother to load it up, just slowly collecting dust in my hard drive, only to be touched for seasonal or large dlc content drops.

I agree it’s greedy of them to charge players to 1k silver for an event like they said that the event is free for all players but they put in something that makes you pay about the same amount that a whole season costs, like getting a whole season is better than something that only lasts for about 20 days, like oh my gosh the greed.

It’s all cosmetic though. You can earn all weapons without upgrading. I don’t get the complaint. Just don’t buy it.
