You write word vomits about your empire and what it does in the comments, I roll dice. Write more vomit. Game: Dice rolls: don't ask me what I'm rolling, it's a secret. focus on having fun writing word vomits. Goal of the game; Using the knowledge of your chosen civilizations standing in the lore of newtopica, your goal/challenge is to write about what your kingdom does in the realm, and be the smug Lesser God who's worshippers go on the rule over the whole of Newtopica. Or maybe you don't- maybe you want to let your mortals forge their own path through subtle suggestions. Or Maybe you want to spite the Greater Lords (Me the GM) and make a mess of creation and destroy all. You have your chance, but its likely others may trey to stop you. You are the -blam!- and changeable Titans of the realm and upon your fingers lie your Empires Fates. How To Play: step 1. Vote on the top poll of any post, it is directly related to the tone and direction of the storygame. Though the choice may not always be clear or sensical- it matters. Step 2. Comment What direction your empire will take in the coming year, be as detailed or basic as you'd like. GM Rolls and Determines the "fate" of the year [i]result (1) - it fails they summon a dread botbeast! thousands die[/i] [i]result (20)- ... similar but everything is good[/i] Step 4. Writer/player Chance to receive 1 victory point or 1 defeat point (chances x%- don't ask) Step 5. Repeat (Caution)- Kingdom Ennui penalties will be applied after 10 non reroll edicts(comments) r(-1) 1st comment r(-2) second comment and so on. *note- The accumulation of defeat points, while foreboding does not represent a potential threat to your kingdoms standing in the realm, until they are used, and their purpose discovered. V/D Points V points are exchanged for a free reroll of an edict, at it's start. Using a V point gives you the option to reroll if the GM rolls badly, but must be spent at the start of the comment D Points serve an unknown purpose and it is likely no good will come of using them; but the Fell powers are tempting and could provide you with an edge against a hostile empire. Spending a D point costs 1 comment; your shamans or sages delve into the study of fell powers and and attempt to invoke them in an act of revenge/desperation/malice.
