I dunno how they would fix it but they should differentiate between disconnects and leaving matches. In the end leave the disconnects alone and if people quit by turning off their system, so what? It’s that much more inconvenience to log back in…. Plus maybe then you could look at disconnects connected to logging back in and immediately going back in competitive and start using time outs from there. They just need a more comprehensive quitter penalty. Where I live internet works when it wants to and hard line doesn’t run here so, what do people expect me not to play at all? Yeah they can shove it. Imma play when I’m able and I don’t deserve penalties because of where I live. Plus nobody has ever said anything about me lagging, the only thing that I’ve ever seen because of me being on wifi is occasional disconnects and sometimes communications won’t work.
People use to force internet issues to get out of losing matches as well.
If someone pulls out their cable how can Bungie tell the difference as all they see us a error code.
