It seems to me Stasis subclasses are the least used atm (after all 3.0 classes being released). I think a small tweak for the better could bring more variety to the game.
Thoughts?
I am referring to Crucible… not sure how it is in PVE tbh.

1 답변Lots of people have brought forward new supers, so I’ll try new grenades and melee abilities. -Icicle grenade Sends out icicles in random directions which damage and slow enemies. I’m thinking like the firebolt grenade, but random. -ice bath grenade Leaves an aoe similar to witherhoard. Freezes enemies that steps in it. -freezer burn grenade Similar to the incendiary grenade, but instead of freezing targets, it gives them a lingering effect which damages them similar to scorch. Titan melee The Titan hurls a large stasis crystal which explodes on impact. It does more damage on direct hits, and has a splash effect. Warlock melee The warlock stabs the target with a stasis lance. It has reach of say 10 feet, and can pass through the intended target and hit adds behind them. Hunter melee The hunter throws several crystals in the air similar to incinerator’s snap. These damage and slow the target, multiple on one target or targets already slowed freeze.

4 답변If that includes further nerfing the Hunters Stasis then yes, yes its really needed! Seriously how fricken long can a super last, and follow and just be a royal PIA as you are running around avoiding a massive bs storm? It never ceases to amaze me how Hunters excel at Titany things better then Titans and Warlocky things then Warlocks.

1 답변Robots love not using weapons. You guys always want to slow/freeze opponents so they can't shoot back.

21 답변In my opinion stasis warlock is top tier. Hunter and Titan not so much. PvE I think warlock and hunter are also top.

4 답변Maybe some new abilities. A new super and melee for each. A handful of new grenades. A fragment or 2. Some updates to older things. New Hunter abilities:
- Frostreaver (super) - summon two kamas and sprint at your enemies. Heavy attack throws them as slow mid range projectiles that detonate after a set distance. Hits slowing enemies. Press sprint to boost yourself similar to Daybreak. High mobility, applies 75 slow for 4 seconds. - Melee: Radial Strike (melee) - Throws two spinning shurikens around yourself, dealing damage to and slowing enemies in a close radius for 5 seconds. (Basically an auto-melee that’s weaker in PvP for 5 seconds).
New Warlock Abilities:
- Deep Freeze (Super) - emit a burst of pure stasis energy that travels along the ground and walls to instantly freeze enemies hit. Press super again to instantly to send out a wave of stasis spikes that deal increased damage to frozen enemies, ending the super. The size of the frozen area increases the longer before you cancel the super. (Basically you are stationary in a similar position to a Well cast while the field grows. Freeze only affects players that touch ground or walks. You are immobile until you cancel the ability. Failing to cancel the ability once the super has been completely drained (7s) does not send out the spike wave.) - Melee: Frostbite (melee) - Close range melee that rapidly slows and freezes enemies repeatedly for a few seconds. (Applies 50 slow every 1/2 second for 5 seconds in PvE, 20 slow every 1/2 second for 5 seconds in PvP. Same base damage as a standard melee. Gives up range for a much stronger freeze effect. Can rapidly freeze bosses multiple times allowing for rapid shattering. Could be really fun in PvE. )
New Titan Abilities:
- Glaciation - throw a shard of stasis at the enemy to rapidly grow a wave of crystals from you to the target ending in a massive stasis spire. The stasis spire will detonate after a delay dealing massive damage to nearby enemies and shattering everything nearby. (Crystal growth is fast and occurs leading to the target location. Spire glows blue and cannot be shattered early. Basically a nova Bomb exchanges better accuracy and lack of annoying mess-ups for a short 4 second delay. Comparable blast radius and damage to Cataclysm. Activates stasis Crystal fragments or aspects) - Shattering Blow - Fast melee with extended range (comparable to Chain Lightning melee) that sends a burst of shattering stasis damage forward. Instantly shatters anything frozen. Deals massive damage to frozen enemies. (An extended range melee with average base damage and a small AoE. Not very flashy at base but deals 5x damage to frozen enemies that stacks with some other melee bonuses.)
Fragments: - Whisper of Binding - Freezing enemies generates grenade energy. (-10 discipline) - Whisper of Shattering - Increases shatter damage dealt by you and your abilities. (+10 strength) - Whisper of Difference - Slowing an enemy increases movement speed for a moderate duration. (-10 mobility). Grenades: - Icepick Grenade - Bounces off of surfaces and emits a shattering secondary blast after detonation. (Shattering incendiary Grenade). - Snowdrift Grenade - upon impacting the ground, unleashes a blast of stasis energy in all directions. (Damage focused Grenade. Detonates on impact and rapidly slows and damaged enemies hit. Applies only 1 slow per stack lasting 2s at base. Good for damage and slow but cannot freeze.) Aspect Buffs: - Frostpulse - shattering frozen targets grants a period of enhanced class ability regeneration for a short time. - Cryoclasm - reduce lockout timer by 1-2s. - Howl of the Storm - increase max Crystal size at the end of the slide. - Winter’s Shroud - final blows on slowed or frozen combatants increases mobility and the size of your slowing burst for a moderate duration (6s). +1 fragment slot. Maybe…?
- Shatterdive - Remove cooldown. - Touch of Winter - enhanced Glacier Grenades have a new, slightly weaker pattern. Idk, it’s something I’d like to change but don’t want to hurt PvE just to make Shatterdive useable again.
작성자: LoITheMan 10/11/2022 4:14:46 AMStasis armor suggests that stasis is the king of ability regen, but in reality it’s arc. Stasis doesn’t really have a consistent identity. How they could make stasis better without making the freezing itself more broken than it is: - Stasis damage kills have an increasing chance to create a stasis shard by default (defeated guardians or elites have a much higher chance) - Stasis shards restore some energy to all abilities Plus, stasis shards already take up so many fragments that require a single aspect. This would finally allow some of those to be used outside of dedicated stasis shard builds. Icing on top would be an exotic weapon that gets bonuses on collecting stasis shards / generates them.

1 답변작성자: Kiro - 13 10/11/2022 7:16:40 AMBuff Cryoclasm and Shatterdive to two fragment slots, makes zero sense why they only get one. Also shiverstrike and shuriken are a total joke.

Been saying this to a mate for weeks 🤣 Stasis should have been the counter to Solar last season but it just couldn't compete against all the healing BS. Definitely needs some love, would even like to see the shurikens on Hunter to do a little more damage

5 답변작성자: Cervantes 10/10/2022 10:18:02 AMAs a Titan, the only thing I think might need a buff for Behemoth is the Super's light attack tracking. It is absolutely -blam!-. Needs a small tweak, nothing crazy.

4 답변Statsis needs a major rework. Was poorly designed to begin with, poorly implemented, poorly nerfed, and then poorly tuned since.
-
6 답변Warlock needs a statis buff. Freezing an opponent lasts half a second and is not long enough. Crap, the Hunter one lasts forever.

Warlock pve is decent, probably the best honestly, but the super sucks tremendous balls. But it sucks all the same in pvp like the other 2.. just like warlock has no good choices in any subclass, it provides no advantage.

3 답변I wish the Titan had a “movement titan melee” like every other subclass has as an option. Not related but I wish the void hunter also had the old backstab move from the blade dancer as an option.

1 답변No cause of pvp. It's a nightmare to balance in pvp for Bungie, obviously, so they will just leave it at that.

5 답변작성자: Wes 10/10/2022 10:23:45 PMDepends really. Stasis turret control is very strong on PvE. With the right build it's very good on PvP too. But...that's it. That one good build. Kinda limited in terms of build diversity (same can be said for several Light 3.0 classes as well). Revanent and Behemoth are awful outside of casual PvE. Fun, by all means, but not good. Squall doesn't even make orbs, because you kill most things it freezes with other things, and its damage is sub-par. Behemoth is just awful.
