19 답변It’s honestly the most blatant display of how disconnected they are with their player base. I helped some people from my clan get Divinity this season. They’d been sitting on the quest forever. Like most players. Never got a chance, didn’t know the raid, never found a good team, lfgs fell apart at the boss etc etc. Everyone knows the stories. This is one of the hardest weapons to get for most people because it’s like the last exotic in the game that’s actually acquired through a quest and not just rng boss farm nonsense where everyone has 5000 clears of VoG now. I helped a few people get it and it’s amazing to see how exhilarating this experience is for them. It makes you realise what a big deal this weapon is and how tough it is to acquire. Now, if some people are so petty that they feel that players who’ve gone through everything I described above to get this weapon don’t deserve its perks because it “trivialises aiming”, then that’s just the saddest thing I’ve ever seen. Not only is it petty to a degree that’s almost pathological, it is also a position that’s completely ignorant of the skill level of 90% of D2 players. Most people will have a hard time to consistently hit Rhulk’s crit spot with a linear fusion rifle while he shifts around the room. And if you’re good at this, it’s because you do nothing but play this game. Honestly, how can someone who plays this game for a living (what an absurd notion to begin with) say that it needs to be harder for people who don’t play this game 10, 12, 14 or 16 hours a day. And here comes the best thing: The people who argue like that use the CHEEEEESIEST stuff they can find, 100% optimised loadouts and fireteam synergy. You people are exploiting the F out of this game and then you b/tch about people who put in time to get a weapon that helps with their boss fights. Doesn’t get more hypocritical than that. Also, where is Divinity actually used? You don’t need it in VoG (just ability-based dmg), you don’t need it in GoS (2-phase anyway so why bother), you never needed it in Last Wish, you don’t really need it in King’s Fall … nobody is using it in Nightfalls, maybe in Master raids but then again, do they really need to be harder? So, that’s my two cents. I think it’s all bs and constant meta shift to sell ornaments and make people buy new content etc.

3 답변Casuals get fk'd. Divinity was what allowed sherpas to be doable with acceptable dps. Now 15% less from everyone and 1 person not doing dps isn't worth it anymore. Have meta lfrs or don't join and learn to aim or learn with a different team. I'm just following with what bungie wants.

We won before the war was even started. Bungie themselves clarified that they had this in the works since before saltagreppo even mentioned it. Whether or not we had this discussion it was going to happen. Just means we get a nice bit of catharsis because we called it like a month ahead of time.

88 답변Hands down one of the dumbest decisions Bungie has made. This is likely going to see a dramatic decrease in sherpa runs because the buff from Divinity is pretty much required when taking people through a raid who have never done it before. And they're only doing it because a high end streamer whined really loud. Pathetic.

2 답변So basically if i understand right, those guys sit around all day with their expert destiny friends streaming using the gear and weapons to get their raids and stuff done. Then then they get the stuff they used to get the clears nerfed for the rest of us Casual players ?

5 답변So crew the effort we went through in getting the weapon too? I just did my first Grandmaster on the Glassway. Divinity helped for captains and minotaurs but that was it. It really didn’t matter too much since champions continue to run over as if the were unstoppable. We then proceeded to do Exodus Crash GM and we were actually fine without it. It’s a very beautiful tool to have for our PvE arsenal there is nothing like it and required raiding to get it. Who are these asking for it to get nerfed and why? It didn’t need to get a nerf, simply BUFF our other suppressing gear. Been saying this from the beginning.

작성자: SpunChii 10/7/2022 9:42:04 PMDivinity wasn't needed to kill raid bosses, people just used it because why not. Divinity is only used in raids, so what's the problem. Now there is even less reason for people to to Garden, Gg Bungie keep on killing your permanent activities. Bungie nerfs weapons with a high usage rate and not those that needs it. A high usage rate doesn't mean that , that gun is too powerful.

Boy, am I glad I got Master Warpriest Challenge done already. Div was a problem that needed solving, but directly lowering its debuff to the point where it's now a net damage loss was not it. Overall, it was only a 10-15% increase in the team's damage. The loss or reduction of the bubble would have been fine, because players aren't nearly as bad at aiming as the streamers and elitists like to think. Against some of the bosses, Div was a damage loss because of the lower crit multiplier vs the boss' actual head, and the bubble isn't needed against the vast majority of others. As much as they might hate to admit it, no one has trouble getting crits against the likes of Oryx, Morgeth or The Templar. It's only Taniks and Rhulk where the bubble's effect is notable. It could also have been worked around by designing fewer boss encounters that culminate in "group up and all shoot at once". Div isn't needed against the likes of Atraks, Golgoroth or legit Riven because there aren't enough people doing damage at once for it to be worthwhile.

Hot take: This changes nothing. Most players who have it will probably still use it and do perfectly fine with it. I was against it right up until reading the notes, and even though it’s a big change, is it really? The big thing is it’s worse to use on champions now, which sucks, but it’s still gonna be a good option for them. For endgame stuff, it’s still going to be a top tier option. I mean, why would you use Tether over Divinity when fighting Taniks, when shooting the bubble under his fat robot cheeks is way better. Probably still gonna use it to clap daughters since there’s a lot of flinch during the dps phase of that encounter. The weird thing is what actually gets buffed from just this nerf. Obviously Void Tether is finally more useful in raids, but Whisper of the Worm is finally a good option, since it’s catalyst doesn’t stack with Divinity. It’s lowkey one of the best heavy weapons in the game, but no one really uses it since Divinity is more useful. Obviously there’s encounters you’ll never use it in. But encounters like Oryx for example lend themselves really well to whisper. Maybe other heavy weapons like rockets or grenade launchers might be more useful since the dps difference is close idk, I haven’t looked at numbers for those archetypes in months. I’m sad it happened because I never really used it much, and only recently picked up raiding again, as well as players having to go through one of the worst Destiny raids to get it. But I’m also tired of being the guy that has to shoot Divinity, so hopefully I don’t need to as much. Overall, it’s really just a whatever, nothing burger to me, I’m just pointing some stuff out.

41 답변Yep, like they ALWAYS do. Now ANOTHER weapon that is getting deleted because it was murdered so the no life streamers can win their "world's" first without competition from us "casuals". I mean how dare we think we should also be able to get "world's first" over a streamer. The nerve. (and don't come here kidding yourself, this is EXACTLY why it happened.)
