Even disregarding this most recent patch, Bungie you have made it blatantly clear that you're not interested in your core audience anymore.
Every step you have taken to dumb down the game and make it more accessible to a casual audience has only slighted your long-term fans and regular players, all while also not really solving the core issues you claim to have fixed.
You asked us to trust you about the slide changes. Didn't change anything.
You said you wanted to tone down the number of OHK abilities in the game. 3.0 Subclasses threw that idea out the window.
You said special weapons were too prevalent. Still see either special Linears or shotguns all over the kill feed.
You asked us to trust you with Airborne Effectiveness. We still can't build into it, most people despise it, but you won't take it back.
You've got flinch so absurdly tuned yet the main issue which is CONSECUTIVE SHOTS PUTTING THE RETICAL BACK ON TARGET still hasn't been addressed.
Bungie has new priorities working with Sony now, they need to get as many new players as possible into the game, but they tried that before with D2 at launch. They've been trying to dig themselves out of that hole ever since. Here we are again.
I think I'm done. I'm not having fun banging my head against this wall of a game you made just for you to disrespect your core players time, effort, and patience for you to start making the right decisions.

1 답변What if, when people stated they were quitting the game, they just didn’t state it, and then quit without a whole soap opera monologue hoping a Bungie employee will see their final desperate plea and send them a message promising change? I wonder what that world would be like?

1 답변It stopped being fun with Shadowkeep. Using Seasons to turn the game into a weekly chore was the worst idea ever. Yes, they did it the year of Forsaken, but the FOMO was more forgiving and each season actually felt different.

2 답변
Destiny Has Stopped Being Fun
Dude, Destiny stopped being fun years ago. I realize your grievances here are the multiplayer, but I see this from a PvE viewpoint as well. Once in a while they release a DLC ("Season") that has a little interest to it. The problem is that they are so similar to the prior "season", and are just reskinned artifacts with a "new" objective enemy, and a new mind numbing grind. Savathun was the only decent one they've released in some time. All the ones prior or since are almost Call of Duty reskin/repetitive that they just don't have any appeal to them. Especially when you are continually forced into repeat the same dang battles MULTIPLE times with randos. At best Destiny is a time filler, when you just want to shoot stuff, and don't want to play your other main games at the moment. Downvotes incoming in 5,...4,...3,....2,...

1 답변History of Destiny: People got excited, then the game almost dies. Luke Smith steals an idea from WoW and his team creates The Taken King. Gets a promotion, ruins the game again, so he continues to use ideas from WoW to bring back hardcore player interest into the game. D2 launches, hardcore players ban together and leave the game because Activision wants to cater to casuals. Bungie realizes their mistake after two horrible DLC's, and comes out with one of the best storylines ever in Forsaken. Game becomes a hybrid of hardcore grinding, and somewhat casual play. Bungie decides to let a swarm of pests known as New Lights infest the game by making it F2P - forums get bombarded with demands by freeloaders demanding all content be made accessible to those -blam!- to pay. Game gets put back in the dumpster. Witch Queen is released, a glimmer of hope appears. PvP becomes crap, community demands nerfs to this, buffs to that. They get it, and still they cry and whine. Moral of the story, Bungie could make the perfect game, although impossible, they accommodate to all demands, even the unreasonable ones - and still you will find the forums full of entitlement saying the game is too hard, too easy, too fast, too slow, too long, too short, too hardcore, too casual...etc. etc. It's a vicious, never ending cycle.

1 답변It amazes me that people will continue to play a game they dislike or deem as not fun when there are so many other options for games out there.

1 답변Bungie has made mistakes that have definitely decreased the feelings of accomplishment, reward and enjoyment for a while now. Bungie has to start learning from their mistakes but they rarely do. They have to bring back the feeling of accomplishment, reward and enjoyment...not just mindless grinding for lackluster rewards. For example, I really miss Pinnacle/Ritual weapons. Every game mode had their own and gave me a reason to grind that mode to get them. Loaded Question, Redrix's Claymore/Broadsword and 21% Delirium are just some examples. I had something to chase. Even if I wasn't going to use it, I chased it anyway. Now I only have one weapon to chase per season and then an ornament😂😭. Things are pretty messed up right now.

10 답변The bottom line and top dollar are all that matter. Bungie has proven this time and time again. They're a corporation not a fun factory.

Totally agree. Just had an arc strider survive a rocket at his feet then proceed to wipe our whole team while we were team shooting. And not even breaking his shields. The only focus on this game is how can I chain all my abilities together to make getting kills easier. Not gun battles. Never buying another expansion, season, or anything else behind a pay wall. Im tired of this re packaging of D1 with all these 3.0 abilities and artifacts and what not. Goodbye bungie. Cya never

작성자: NotCreative123 10/8/2022 2:17:23 AM1. The slide changes simultaneously nerfed the most commonly used exotics, slide-shotgunning/slide-sniping and the prevalent playstyle at the time (slide-shooting, then sliding to cover) 2. There are 3 OHK abilities in the game. Throwing knives are inconsistent. Peregrine Greaves is a strong choice, but no stronger than a shotgun. Flux grenades are inconsistent. What is your specific complaint? The occasional lucky knife? The Titan running into a wall and bashing you? 3. Special weapons have been nerfed every season since they announced the change. Primaries are viable in every scenario, provided you have the correct primary for the range 4. AE changes hit special weapons the hardest. This change nerfed another dominant playstyle, nerfed the most used weapons in the game (HCs), and nerfed Hunters (they jump a lot). Additionally, this change allowed Bungie to buff and nerf exotic armor in a new way. 5. They just announced a change to address sniper flinch. Be patient

2 답변No matter what you say, there’s something about the snappy gunplay and exotic environment, unequalled imo. I’m 48, been gaming since the first Nintendo, and Destiny is by far the game I’ve enjoyed the most overall: meaning actual gameplay combined with relationships I’ve had, played with my son, made great friends. Carried new friends to their first gm, hear them yell YA they are so happy. It gets repetitive, yeah, but even if I stop playing for X amount of time, eventually the itch will come back.

작성자: Ogma: Destroyer of Worlds 10/7/2022 2:48:50 PMBad RNG is making me play less. My drop off in play time has started earlier each season these last couple of seasons. Unrewarding grinds where you can’t increase your chance to get what you want discourage playing. Unreasonable RNG is getting the best of them again.

I'm not going to make any allegations towards sony. But I agree with most of this. Bungie has been setting goals they haven't been reaching and seems to be going in a direction we (my clan) doesn't like as players who care about the game and have been playing for years. We're probably gonna step away for a while and see how things settle FOMO be damned.

2 답변Yea pvp is sweaty af, all this new stuff is just farm this activity 600 times to be done, a bunch of re skin and re used stuff, a sht season story fo this, kill this, collect this and wait until next reset, I think the only time I have fun is on freelance trials, not to add all the pay cosmetics stop with the p2p cosmetics is not like this is a free play game dont think I'm getting the new dlc is they continue like that. They need to fix the real problems.

작성자: Itcus 10/7/2022 8:46:31 AMBungo are a bunch of -blam!- creators. They can't decide what they want the game to be or who they want to please most, streamers, long time players, casuals, new comers. Whoever screams the loudest gets priority and the others get the shaft. This won't change until they decide once and for all who the game is REALLY targeted at. The saying goes: you can't please all the people all the time :and that is very true here. No matter who they cater to, someone will always be butt hurt. The game has changed so much in the past 5 years and is a completely different game to what it was as D1. To me, it's some good and more bad, but I still love to play it, mostly, although lately I have found myself stepping away more and more. I honestly don't see a resolution to the ongoing issues that keep cropping up and it's very disheartening. Time to take a break? Perhaps. Edit: for context on the -blam- Apparently --blam!- le- is censored. https://www.collinsdictionary.com/dictionary/english/-blam!--minded Didn't realise they hated criticism so much they'd censor it.
