I could understand if the Stat bonus was a +5 in each stat but no. Just sht game design 🥱

3 답변Ascendant Shards are easily accessible, most of shards are given for free just by playing the game and they are gifted on GM’s

17 답변작성자: ForeverLaxx 9/28/2022 8:09:12 PMWhat makes me laugh is that there are so many people saying it's not a problem because they're "easy" to get. They neglect to realize that if it's so easy to acquire then it's existence is pointless. In their zeal to be elitist, they've defeated the one angle elitists love to leverage -- that they have something you don't. If it's so simple to acquire, who cares if it costs 1, 3, 3 million, or even 0? The entire masterworking system is a joke and seems only kept around to enforce another artificial hamster wheel grind and give Apex Armorer (a seasonal challenge that shouldn't exist to begin with) a reason to force materials out of completionists. EDIT: Seems only one person in my replies can actually read. Not surprised.

Yes there is, it’s called manipulating the players into thinking that mindless and brain numbing grinding is meaningful because now you have a maxed out exotic oooooooh. Aren’t you happy that you spent all that time farming just so your exotic boots can have a couple more stats to it?
-
A good 20% minimum of this game is strictly padding gameplay. Materials are pointless since we always seem to have them (except Ascendant Shards for us solo players who don’t really do a whole lot of GMs), and tbh it’s not really needed anymore. Glimmer is the currency of the City, and yet the only uses it has seem to be strictly to LOWER how much you have. For example, a subclass fragment costing 25,000? I get we should buy them, but after remaking my titan I have to buy ALL grenades, supers, jumps, melees, barricades, aspects, AND fragments again instead of being given a decent portion of them to start with (like our characters did when the 3.0s came out). I’m sorry, but I’m not farming for glimmer for 15 hours just to have all my subclass tools under my belt. It’s an artificial grind that ultimately only hurts the player

6 답변작성자: Kouz_MC 9/28/2022 2:44:49 PMI’m a player with way too many GM completions. I would have much more if I wasn’t spending most my time helping. I must lose 50prisms and 10 ascendant shards sitting at the postmaster at least 3 times per season on each character. I am one not to care about ascendant shards costs. That said, I 100% agree with your rational: If I’m required to spend 1 ascendant shard to max out a legendary gear and only gain +2 in each stat. The exotic gear requiring me to spend 3 ascendant shards should yield more than +2, or allow me to allocate the +12 total points how I see fit. For instance, I will gain a +12 in discipline, and 0 everywhere else. If the cost is exotic, the reward should be too.

Logical reason #1 - to make you play more of the garbage you hate to play. Boosting time in game numbers and stats that they post to investors while watching tv instead of working. See -blam!- like this is how they get away with being less then incompetent game designers

12 답변작성자: BoomerSooner51 9/29/2022 4:39:26 PMThere's lots of shit in this game that makes no sense. If something doesn't make sense, just assume it's intended to slow player progression and extend the grind.

3 답변According to the hardcore playerbase, that's a "skill issue". Just do a Grandmaster or something instead of "whining".

2 답변작성자: I’m Vexy And I Know It 9/28/2022 8:23:43 PMYour mad about that? I’m mad that exotics are almost getting to be more common than legendary. Like jeez, their nothing now it’s just, “oh Xûr has this, no need to farm for it now. I don’t even have to try now.” I think the way D1 had it was great. There was value to them then. I’m not worrying About the stats at this point. Worst case scenario you get a new one with better stats.
-
This is especially true when you consider that we can only carry 10 shards at a time in inventory, but with exotics costing 3 to masterwork, a full armor set requires 7. Would love to see cost to masterwork exotics drop to 1 or 2, and at least double the inventory stack size.
-
2 답변It gives value to Ascendant Shards. Gives me reason to do Master Nightfalls. I think it is fine. Exotics shouldn't be super easy to max out or else everyone will have maxed exotics and it would take away from the value of it.

Exactly, I play the sh*t out of this game but I struggle getting into groups that could help me farm up golf balls. It’s in infuriating to miss out maxing a stat by 2 because I don’t have enough golf balls for my damned exotic. We can purchase them from D*ck Head in the tower but he want 10 shards for one.

10 답변lmfao. logic and game design go hand in hand. It actually is logical to have the cost more than legendary armour. You might not like it, you might not be good enough to amass piles of the golfballs, you may not have the time to farm them, you may abhor the cost with the upgrade but, logics.. yeah it fits with a logical process. Especially Bungies where everything costs you something and likely that something is significant investment in time, materials and grind..
