Perhaps not in the game currently due to technical restraints. However, a stand-alone game title with the sunset campaigns and destinations etc could be an idea? That way it doesn’t cause issues for the current game and anyone new or even a seasoned vet who wants to go back and replay previous content (especially the base campaign as it would better explain the story of D2 etc) would have the option of loading up that game and replay then jump into D2 and continue on. I’d have to imagine the cut content wouldn’t be as large as the current game.

  • Absolute nonsense...why can other online games constantly add content and not "vault" older content? Example: Guild Wars 2. ...I know its an RPG ...but it has lot of the same mechanics as this game, even PVP. There's even guns ...and you can play it like a FPS. The base game is free to play, the main game is $49, the three expansion DLCs are $10 each. ...And, the world is huge. I think its really economics and marketing BS.

And GW2 may be F2P, but it's heavily restrictive.
