I think SBMM should be a separate playlist for those who are subpar average skill level in casual pvp.
Reason being they most likely don’t like it and only play 3 games a week, or they are trying to get better. I don’t think it’s fair that players who live and breath crucible are now cornered into using meta load outs since they are now suspending left games. The only ones who like SBMM belong to the group mentioned in my first point. Also, the connections can be -blam!-, and now we have to stay in a game with laggers, otherwise be shunned out for 30 minutes? I think the whole idea is toxic.
Edit: I notice a lot of comments on other posts stating how pvp players are fuming because we no longer can mop up lobbies and have to play our own skill level…that’s not the problem! I don’t mind facing competitive players…hmmm idk maybe in a competitive playlist?? It’s the fact that we now have compete and sweat in a “casual” playlist is asinine. I am a highly diverse player, and love niche builds and producing quality games with them. It’s invigorating and something I believe that destiny can only offer. But it’s not fun when you try that now and get cream pied by clearly better weapons, and outperforming gear/subclasses against players that are equal skill in every direction. Epitome of now bringing a knife to a gunfight. Which now brings full circle…give us the choice of SBMM control, and CBMM control, that’s all I ask.
Edit 2.0: This is to all the PvE mains: imagine the area of content of which you thrive is now on raid hard mode difficulty AT ALL TIMES. Strikes are no longer casual, you now have to outfit yourself with 2 other competent players running meta pve loads outs just to run a casual strike like it’s a grandmaster nightfall….yeah think about it. You’d be ok with that?

Seems to me if you wanna stop playing sweaty monsters, stop playing like a sweaty monster until the game starts matching you up with other casual players with a skill level that's fun for you, right? You do realize that if there is a SBMM mode as you have asked for that only sweats will play in the so called casual mode. Bad players would never enter the casual mode as they would just get stomped. This is a good move by Bungie. Your so called loadout options and not wanting to face sweats all the time should not come at the expense of bad players. Even if Bungie offered both CBMM and SBMM the same players would end up being matched. Casual mode would just be predatory and no casual would go in so you would just end up facing sweats.

Imo you're right where you belong

5 답변This post is so funny! I absolutely knew the players that preyed on the weak would hate SBMM. You basically said your getting matched evenly and can no longer just destroy people. Mission accomplished Bungie!!!!

2 답변As pvp player. You should be happy about sbmm. If you’re complaining about it go play pve where it’s easier for you

1 답변All casuals will go to SBMM while sweats will be in CBMM. You'll be back to square one very shortly.

작성자: AxeManGlen 9/3/2022 2:36:45 AMYou do understand that probably for you to enjoy a game, and for it to be easy so you can use different load outs, and chill and not have to sweat. Someone has to suffer on the other team . Maybe your lagging to them, or just can't match your skill and after being stomped turns game off. I totally understand that also you like winning too, and enjoying the game but to actual want to play some matches that are easy, does drive other players away from the game or crucible. I use to play more crucible but stopped except for triumphs or missions. But these last few weeks the few I've played have been more enjoyable and although not being top play in my team feel I can improve more than before, then playing mostly players way out of my league Just hope maybe bungie finds a way for all to enjoy
