If pride wasnt such a toxic trait for most, a lot of ideas from the player-base would be cool implementations for the game.
Some of you have developer energy and I can dig it.
Regardless if the idea is good or bad in the eyes of anybody, an idea can always change its agenda with some brainstorming.
Never stop providing ideas for improvements or simply ideas and opinions in general especially if it is not toxic to video gaming.

3 답변작성자: Jai_Ex 8/22/2022 2:30:33 PMDude, the thing I hate most about this game is its lack of interest to innovate. It literally takes bungie years to implement ideas that should've been in the game since the start of D2 vanilla. Sure, I get that the toxicity isn't helping an that a lot of people need to manage that, but I'm pretty disappointed with how this company's talent for creative thinking has steadily declined. It has led to a number of issues like unrefined storytelling and worldbuilding, a lack of effort into actually creating interesting holiday events, steady decline in the building of imaginative and original story missions, seasonal activities, exotic quest lines, etc.; a plummet in artistic and expressive design for armor, a neglect of attention to activities such as pvp, gambit, and even strikes; a new light experience that wasn't thought through well enough, causing new players finding it hard to understand what is going on in the game. Players like me want a game that is very immersive, and finds new ways to progress the gaming Imindustry, not recycled content and new story campaigns that don't have that much thought behind them. The reason why I quit was because destiny didn't really have any interest to innovate major parts in its game, whether that be its storytelling/worldbuilding or even implementing creative missions that engage the player consistently in a season or in an expansion. Sure bungie is trying to make a difference now, but the damage has already been done. No amount of ideas is going to make this game into the masterpiece it could've been. Plus they have a bunch of things that they could base their ideas off of. The quality of their concept art in the early days is something to behold. They could've easily turned this game around if they actually used some of those ideas. I'm grateful for the time developers put into creating this game but, if u ask me, bungie has a history of making bad decisions with this game, and that's what irritates me. They would rather play "safe'" than try to innovate and create an interesting world. What ever happened to the phrase "Become Legend" and why isn't bungie trying to live that way?🙁

1 답변Gambit and pvp are pretty self evident that bungo doesn’t respond to player feedback and they just do whatever they want Their response to the super low player pop in gambit when the number one complaint was heavy ammo spam… was to quadrupole the amount of heavy ammo available Their response to years of complaints of stale/too small maps on pvp was to unvault bad maps from d1 and make 1 new bad map for d2 Complaints about power grind leveling should have seen all light level removed before beyond light and it’s still here creating fomo and making people quit if they miss a few weeks of the season

1 답변I feel like it's important for people to keep in mind even when they float these ideas that A) game dev is really, really hard. Just about every game out there is held together with duct tape and some amount of "I have no idea why this works but it works". And sometimes changes can break things it ridiculous ways. That doesn't mean stop suggesting things, but understand you may never see them for reasons that would take a book to explain. B) I'm honestly not sure if this applies to games, but I know for instance comic book authors *cant* look at your ideas because it opens them up to lawsuits if something similar happens in their book. C) I'm all for QoL suggestions, but I do kinda wish some suggestions like "let us use multiple exotics" would take into account the game at large. For instance, that particular example would likely be completely game breaking and/or be fun for 5 minutes, but take forever to implement if it's even possible. Anyway, ideas demonstrate passion. Let em rip! Beats the normal posts I see here. Also suggested reading is Jason Schrier's "Blood, Sweat, and Pixels". It's incredibly eye opening and has a whole chapter about Destiny 1.

20 답변Too bad bungie doesn’t care and only focuses on how to keep the hamster wheel spinning while inflating player time, they don’t make games with the idea of having fun anymore.

3 답변
a lot of ideas from the player-base would be cool implementations for the game.
Some ideas have been added to the game, but the problem is Bungie. They take an idea and say to themselves, how can we royally screw this up so it only benefits us? So it's actually pointless to even give Bungie ideas, suggestions, etc... anymore. At least in D1, some of the key devs that had a say were actually trying. All that was thrown out the window as soon as those key devs left Bungie.

6 답변Ideas don’t matter anymore. Game has become a joke. Whoever is in charge implements boring and lackluster repetition of boring contents. Artificial grind that are not fun as a game at all. Not even worth your time and money anymore. It’s not a game for everyone anymore. Personally, it’s a joke of a game if you ask me.

3 답변작성자: Artisan 8/20/2022 11:47:45 AMBungie starves this place deliberately. I can't even remember the last time Bungie replied here. Invariably every time they mention "community" they phrase it like this (watch out for it next time) : "...as posted on Twitter, Reddit, and other places " They don't or rarely even mention it. Note the full page of posts of comments upon Arc 3.0 for Warlock here. Note not a single Bungie response. Same post on Reddit and Bungie has already replied three times. So again, in multiple ways they starve this place. And the kneejerk stupidity is wrong - it certainly isn't anything to do with this place being toxic. What an excuse for Bungie. No Twitter and Reddit are very much the same toxicity eg just see the Twitter death threats of Kevin Yanes. This is all about fuelling social media traffic. Customers being the lower priority.

1 답변Yea when the dev actually listens, it can feel rewarding to post feedback. Companies who claim to be "listening" at every single given chance, usually don't. Actions speak louder than words. Bungie has proven time and time again that they simply do not care about feedback. They do what they want to do. If my older posts are still there, you can literally dig up 20 cases of me suggesting changes that have eventually found their way into the game literally 1-2 years later. I have made so so many points that NEEDED to change within the game and it took them 2 years to realize themselves. This company seem to be actually stubborn, ignorant and they have way too big of an ego to listen to suggestions other than those of streamers.

1 답변I’ve had a lot of ideas for this franchise over the years, some somewhat relevant to the communities desires and others well, mostly biased in my eyes. Me personally I’d love destiny to embrace more MMO aspects not just in gameplay but in social and interactive ways. Customization, housing, a bigger focus on clans would be great for me but for the general community and overall state of the game? Would honestly be a big waste of resources implementing it now, as the game has much more pressing issues (new player experience, content cycles, PvP, etc) I think one of the more important fixes is the season model, it has to go. Seasonal content is generally boring, another activity with a set of weapons/armor I’ll farm a god roll for that I’ll vault and a title you’ll get over eight weeks. I think the way seasons worked in forsaken were far better as it was general content for the game and not just for that expansion year. However is a change to the seasonal model something bungie can do overnight or would take the course of several years as tons of development and resources would be necessary for a foundational game change. The reality of implementing an idea shouldn’t discourage the concepts though. Don’t feel like just because something isn’t possible means it shouldn’t be possible to do. Bungie now may just be doing small content changes however as much as it may not seem like it, someone is reading idea concepts and a team of developers are probably doing their best to implement them so never feel like an idea is wasted because a stupid idea is better than no idea.

9 답변Bungie should allow cosmetic mods and allow players to optimize the coding to improve pc performance like MHW. But Bungie Devs would be upset that people don't use their cosmetics anymore because they are so bad.

1 답변I’m sure the devs also have great ideas. Idk how many of them are possible, or allowed. It seems the lords of bungie are please with how things are going, even if some devs and the player base doesn’t agree. The worse is yet to come, dungeon keys are just the start. Sony won’t save them

1 답변Ideas people aren’t worth a whole lot in game design. Anyone can think up cool stuff, that’s not hard. The impressive part is being able to act on those ideas.
