Warlocks class ability sucks compared to other chars
Wtf happened to the warlocks class ability? It only last for a short duration but it takes forever to recharge it . Fix the the rift its the warlocks CLASS ability!!! My Recovery is almost a 100 but its still bad

2 답변I don’t know, I see people pop rift and their health immediately regens to full, while when I pop it, it feels like it gradually heals me I wouldn’t say the rift sucks, arc soul and child of gods is pretty op imo

1 답변Kind of agree The benefice of healing rift is almost as not available when you need it by the time you get cover launch animation get healed you are already dead in pvp and you just waisted the rift ... If you activate it beforehand the other player can see it and just don t engage It turns out either scenario it is barely usable in pvp Regards

I do think we are past time the rift do more to be worth the lengthy cool down it has. It’s slow to cast and for the healing rift once cast it takes time to grant the benefit, and has longest cool down. Stasis and Void at least have finally added benefits, but solar added nothing. All it did was lock the Phoenix Dive behind its long cool down. I fear Warlocks are going to lose Arc Soul with Arc 3.0 unless using getaway artist, as that could be quite strong to have an arc soul along with the stronger elements of the Warlock’s arc subclass. But the problem with rift that the other classes don’t have is that it’s an ability you have to use in a safe place or before danger arrives. Barricade and dodge get you out of danger in addition to other benefits. The one real exception being stasis for a Warlock because you can chose for your rift to freeze things. There’s lots of ideas for changes to the base form of the rift it would be adding a stomp like concussive force to the empowering rift, violently shoving enemies away (killing weak ones). And the healing rift start off with a boost of damage resistance so you can better survive the casting of it. Or make the area if the rift do DOT to enemies, like a Witherhorde pool.

My Recovery is almost a 100 but its still bad[/quote] Rift was designed for D2 at launch, when weapons were less powerful, there was no special ammo, and everybody moved slower. It did not age well with the "go fast" update. There's a reason Bungo gave us void souls cuz otherwise our class ability is pointless. They tried to deviate for solar 3.0. Thing is, Phoenix Dive takes longer to use, has a longer animation, heals less, and requires you to be mid air (which is a death sentence in some activities). Our rifts don't even grant a good empower anymore when hunter dodge grants Radiance, the same buff as Well of Radiance. Honestly, it sucks.

5 답변I strongly disagree. Rifts counter primary weapons. Every buff to primaries is an indirect buff to rifts.

4 답변They haven't changed rift duration and I believe it has the same cooldown as barricade. While not flashy it is a pretty strong ability since it can either heal and give an oversheild or it can give a 15% damage buff Also don't forget that there are armor mods/exotics/weapon perks that can boost cooldowns even further.

Overall we move much faster than vanilla d2, and the encounters have a lot more gunplay and movement involved. Yet the warlock class ability is still a stationary circle. Titan barricades have the same dated feel, but they do make more sense given the titan’s role.

No Its perfect the way it is. We have easy ways to spam it, and even without spaming it we have it really often. We just cant stand in our rift non stop without a build because that would be broken considering how strong a rift is. Imagine if hunters or titans could have a 100% uptime on their class abilities XD (Before somebody makes a joke about hunter spaming the ultra OP dodge...im talling about true spam not a 10s cooldown)

4 답변I just wish it didn't take a lifetime to deploy rifts. I'm fine with the duration of it & even with me lowering my recovery it still charges fairly quickly

12 답변작성자: Vlaf.ZA 7/3/2022 1:57:09 AMSeems like I attracted all the trolls who never played a master or grand master as a warlock I didnt said anything about strong 1 clown showed up and now I have to deal with the whole circus if you are constantly on the move the rift charges way to slow for master and grandmaster I dont want to build into the rift I use other exotics my recovery is already 90+ With that amount of recovery means you other abilities suffer including resilience witch makes you more dependent on your rift
