Not a single person goes to their postmaster and thinks, "oh, thank God the game saved that ballyhoo mk.27 for me, and it even deleted my stack of ascendant shards to make room! Sweet."
A huge QoL win here. You want an easy, crowd-pleasing change that can't possibly backfire? Quit sending blues to the postmaster.

16 답변작성자: AubsTheBelieber 6/20/2022 8:29:37 AMWhy is auto dismantle blues top trending at ALL times for a couple years now and yet not even one post has had a Bungie reply, or been actioned? Clearly this is something MOST players want and those who don't care, won't be affected poorly. There are two posts always on here: 1) Auto dismantle blues 2) Postmaster size or blues problems. At this point I am starting to believe it is truly impossible in the code to do this. Cause Bungie ignores this with so much effort. I know you didn't sat autodismantle but it would obviously fix your problem and another at the same time.

14 답변Better solution - don't leave your postmaster and inventory so full of other stuff you don't use that excess materials are in any danger of being pushed out. If your inventory has no space to pick up new items and you're playing so much that you're regularly leaving 20+ items behind without going to the Tower or HELM, that seems more like a self-inflicted problem.
-
If you don't have a full inventory, you can store blues in your inventory and almost none go to the postmaster. Then you can delete them during breaks. With a 7 year history of first in, first out in the postmaster, I doubt it's going to change....

작성자: neonsox42 6/20/2022 10:25:53 PMHonestly, I’d be fine if they just allowed us to store more stacks of shards or upgrade materials in the vault or increase the cap for prisms, modules, shards and alloys. Optional “Auto-Dismantle Rare items on pickup” option in settings or simply not allow blues to go to your postmaster would also work

Yep my buddy lost some deepsight weapons while farming the castellum recently. The grind was so mind numbing he totally forgot about all the trash blue drops, he would relaunch the castellum after key runs and it didn't tell him postmaster was full.... he emptied postmaster prior to farming so was happy for a few drops to go there not knowing it was already full of blues and his drops were being deleted instead of saved, as you mention he was not happy to find a postbox full of blue trash. If a third party app like DIM can manage the postmaster, so can the damn game itself. Let us view and retrieve from postmaster in the director, they sure as -blam!- found time to make Eververse available in the director. Shows their priorities right there.

3 답변Then start deleting them in your inventory. Your own fault if they get sent to the postmaster and you lose something. Postmaster is NOT storage

1 답변I don't have a problem with blues... Good for making enhancement cores. Not that hard to manage the post master.. Maybe some of these players need to learn to not keep their equipment inventory full so they can dismantle as they go.

작성자: Xero 6/20/2022 10:18:23 PMFolks should know better that this won't happen so long as seasonal caps change. Blues fill in this role for soft cap increases. Even if it's temporary for returning players, new players, on the other hand get a benefit from this before seeing an influx of Legendary items. This feedback is a challenge against the intended system. Not going to go anywhere, regardless of upvotes. What we should ask for is a filter system we can engage with in the Postmaster, where we can toggle an option to have whatever rarity of item sent to the Postmaster auto dismantle into whatever materials. That at least will sound more reasonable as a "QoL" change. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Why would the Destiny devs put something like that in D2? What do you think this is D1? We just have to accept that D2 is a game of expensive micro transactions. That's what Bungie designs for. Anything else like QoL is a waste of resources that could be working on Eververse items.

You will never get a single quality-of-life feature from Bungie. Never. Their main goal is to prolong play time, so everything will only get more tedious and annoying. You'll never get anything that'll make things more convenient.

6 답변Actually no I'll keep the blues thanks, good for infusing new weapons to try/weapon bounties etc. Plus that's my main source of gunsmith ranks

Or, if you want to make them actually worth something, make ALL BLUES drop at our HIGHEST LIGHT FOR THAT SLOT!

1 답변작성자: BOSSNONO254 6/19/2022 11:22:53 PMPeople have been asking for an auto blue dismantle system for the longest now. But Bungie refuses and I can see how that is due to the fact that some blues are for power leveling purposes. But after you have reached the hard cap, I believe the auto blue option should be able to be toggled to being on or off.
-
Yeah, I have been playing my warlock recently, I've been getting so much blues that I have just equipped them so that I could bring my light up, to be honest while your playing destiny 2, theirs a point in each character that I have that blues armor drops alot that you just have to equip them, or that's just me. But I do agree to either get rid of blues or just auto dismantle them in vault.

7 답변
and it even deleted my stack of ascendant shards to make room! Sweet.".
I just lost 6 Ascendant Shards and 42 Enhancement Prisms yesterday because of this exact issue happening to me. Gotta love Bungie. Do you know what they could also do? They could remove the stupid, arbitrary, useless caps on our upgrade/masterworking materials and help alleviate completely unnecessary Postmaster bloat even more.
