I'd hardly call anything in this game kill stealing. Most of it is just team contribution.
It's hardly that important on whether or not you "get" the kill unless you're obsessed with stats. It's more important that the person is just dead.
KDA is like overall team contribution. KD is just a stricter value on how often you can secure kills. Again, sometimes team shooting or kill "stealing" happens. So it's not perfect. But it shows a pretty good average of how well you perform.
Regardless a lifetime .86 KD and 1.03 KDA in quickplay of all places isn't that good. And would explain why you're having a lot of trouble in more competitive places.
Best solutions are:
1. Practice a lot.
2. Create a good/cheesy build (that's just what destiny is tbh).
3. Put a lot of effort into making a steady team (they don't have to be friends).
4. Wait for freelance week (but also 1&2).
Not everything is for everyone. Just because a reward looks cool doesn't mean you are allowed to have it. That's the name of the game and there are plenty of other games that are more forgiving. Best of luck!
Create a good/cheesy build (that's just what destiny is tbh).
What would you recommend?
Just because a reward looks cool doesn't mean you are allowed to have it.
I have so many problems with that statement, what Bungie creates should be available to everyone, after all they are creating that for everyone.

- Axion Bolt warlock with Contraverse Holds. - Titan Anything with Dunemarchers. - Invis Hunter with Gemini Gesters. Just to name a few good class selections. But I haven't played in like a couple months so idrk what has changed. Internship eats away my free time. 💀 As for "what Bungie creates should be available to everyone" I say. No. That's not how the real world works, and it's not how every video game works! The fun part is the challenge. If the challenge isn't the same for everyone in a multiplayer game that takes away the validity of it. Saying that you went Flawless isn't as impressive. It's like saying you beat the entirety of Celeste without dying. Impressive! But you did it with assist mode on. That's no longer that impressive right? The challenge needs to be uniform for everyone.

Yeah I knew as soon as I said something about real life it’d trigger the irrational lizard brain response. My b. So think about it this way. Why are certain feats like: no hit, speed runs, or 100% completions impressive in video games? It’s because they are challenging, and require practice. Not everyone can do them! Either due to time investment, or lack of ability. If everyone can do them, they are not as valuable. Or as impressive. Feel free to call that elitist, or whatever term you want. That’s what competition is. And that’s what trials is. 🤷🏼♂️ Not everyone can be a winner. It feels a lot better to put in the practice and triumph than complain and get something easier.

Oh -blam!- off, first off did you read me saying that something should not be difficult? I said that stuff should be available for everyone, and what I meant by that is that everyone should have a chance. How can we have a chance if matchmaking is non existent and we get constantly destroyed? Also PVP in destiny is garbage, an exploitable piece of -blam!-, also most of the pvp players don't want a challenge, they want to dominate, resetting their cards so they car farm us for they precious KD.

I'm not opposed to match making being improved in some form. But that's hardly the only problem preventing people from winning in trials. I'm kind of just trying to have a chill conversation here and offer some tips on how your time could be spent better. At the end of the day I did ignore how you said "This almost makes me whish that Bungie would just remove pvp from the game and focus on content they are halfway decent at making: PVE". I can't really argue with someone's opinion. I think PvP in Destiny is generally fun most of time, but if you dont. Well. 🤷🏼♂️ A really cool PvE game you might like (due to build crafting, etc) is Deep Rock Galactic. No PvP, no lockouts on stuff you can get. Seriously, check it out.

작성자: Bruno21 6/12/2022 4:04:58 PMok, sorry if got heated up but let me explain to you the issues I have with pvp: PVE and PVP in Destiny are forever at odds with each other, we can't have anything to crazy at PVE because of PVP, and PVP is always unbalanced because is tied to PVE, the two are always suffering because of each other, so what do you do here ? I don't know. My best advice is just remove pvp in it's current state and rebuild the whole thing completely separate from pve, with it's own abilities and loadouts that Bungie could balance around.

작성자: RockNotABoulder 6/12/2022 4:17:52 PMI understand your suggestion. And your position on it. It's just not something that could realistically happen. PvP is such an integral part of this game! One of the main hooks of Destiny is getting something in PvE and then trying it out in PvP or vice versa. Separate PvE and PvP balance is the way to go 100%, and they've started to implement it for different 1 off things. For example: "(insert damage buff here) gives 25% buff in PvE and 15% in PvP". As for "it's own abilities and loadouts" that doesn't make any sense to implement. If people want a different type of PvP experience they should just go play a different PvP game. That's asking for something where you don't even know what exactly what you want. It's like saying "new game please". Well yeah, of course everyone would like a new game to try out. But that's not happening. There are already a ton of ability based loadout shooters that exist.

작성자: Bruno21 6/12/2022 4:22:43 PMOf course I know it would not happen, Bungie is too scared/incompetent/lazy to do something so bold. All I'm saying is the reason Destiny keeps having broken pvp and nerfs coming do pve it's because the two are stuck together and it just does not mesh well in terms of balance, one is free to like it, but I think it's just hurts the game.

"Bungie is too scared/incompetent/lazy to do something so bold." I would actually argue the opposite. It'd be a pretty stupid move to completely remove one of the most prominent and most played game modes of your game for an indefinite amount of time. The fun part of Destiny is that the PvE and PvP mesh together. Not a lot of games do this. Asking them to remove that mesh takes away one of the core pieces of Destiny's identity. If you do want a separate PvP experience there are tons of other games that offer that. That just isn't what Destiny is trying to be.
The fun part of Destiny is that the PvE and PvP mesh together. Not a lot of games do this. Asking them to remove that mesh takes away one of the core pieces of Destiny's identity.
I could argue the exact opposite, the unholy mesh between PVE and PVP is disliked by an equal if not superior portion of the playerbase, especially the quests that forces PVE players to play pvp. You say it's a blessing, I say it's a curse, could be both. Don't get me wrong, I really like Destiny, I really do, if I didn't I wouldn't be so passionate about his, I love the lore, the cool powers, the weapons, armor, playing pve with clanmates, the Story(this season has been really good in that department) .
