OK, so Bungie sold you the 'Ultra Deluxe Super Duper' pack for $120 and you thought you were all set paying for the year. Now Bungie's testing you to see if they can squeeze an extra $10 out of you. If this goes over well, it'll be the new norm.
What do you think would happen if we all 'noped' out?
What do you think if during Solstice we all went back to D1 for three weeks?
I get it, never going to happen, but what if? Enough people will support it and Bungie will understand that people will put up with this and we'll see more and more the same, but what if?
But what if we pushed back?
What if we made it clear we don't support this?
What if we all said, ok, that's enough?
By going back to D1 we'd be showing we still love the game, but this is a step too far
You think if Bungie saw the numbers and saw everyone on D1 instead of this paid D2 event they'd try it again? Cuz I know that when they see the numbers and see how many people buy this, there's more to come.

2 답변Ultimately it requires players to simply not pre-order content or pay extra for sleights of hand like the 30th Anniversary dungeon. I am guilty on both counts and suffering buyer's remorse having not touched the game in a while and with zero hype or plans to log on to the new season. Bungie are acting like this is a F2P game that requires MTX. That doesn't fit well when so many of the player base have already paid a 100 of their local currency for content. Bungie are laying out a very clear path and so far the player base have helped cement in the stones. As for going back to D1. You would simply realise how horrible the game looks in 30fps :)

Going back to a different game by the same developer would do absolutely nothing. Even if it was the entire population. And if you think D1 is better than D2 you’re out of your mind, anyway.

5 답변The community is too weak to push back, and it's why Bungie is pushing the game in a poor direction that it will only get worse as many have said.

1 답변Nothing would happen, bungie would probably let destiny die and put all the workers on their new game called “matter”.

Bungie would still go ahead with whatever their plans are because it seems they genuinely dont care about what the community as a whole wants. Look at any of the massive changes they make and the amount of negative feedback they get for it ( orbs of light change for example) the community was pissed but it fell on deaf ears and they kept it anyways

1) Solstice is available for everyone. 2) 1000 silver is optional for 3 instant cosmetics ( exotic emote, exotic ghost and a shader) with the option to turn in event tickets to get some more cosmetics (two legendary ghost holograms, legendary transmat, and exotic ship). Which isn’t something I’ll buy. 3) Solstice armor is what I might care about and it looks to be the same silver/bright dust paywall. 4) the only issue I would have is If the seal associated with the event is tied to buying the 1000 silver package.

17 답변
OK, so Bungie sold you the 'Ultra Deluxe Super Duper' pack for $120 and you thought you were all set paying for the year.
Incorrect, the Deluxe Edition of Witch Queen was $80 and the Deluxe Edition & 30th Anniversary Bundle was $100 for 15 months of content. Not sure where you get $120 except if you decided to add each item individually, but if you decided to do that, you might be a Titan.
Now Bungie's testing you to see if they can squeeze an extra $10 out of you. If this goes over well, it'll be the new norm.
Bungie is asking for $10 for Cosmetic items, oh my, we have never had Bungie offer cosmetics for Bungie over the past 7 years of the game. It has literally never happened before, it would be awful if that became the norm.
What do you think would happen if we all 'noped' out?
That would be perfectly fine.
What do you think if during Solstice we all went back to D1 for three weeks?
That would be perfectly fine. I prefer D2, but to each their own. My advice, acknowledge and accept that microtransactions exist, buy them if you want to, don't buy them if you don't want to.

7 답변Oh cool we needed another topic about the optional cosmetics pack... 1its optional 2 its cosmetics 3 if you bought some of them it will now come way cheaper buying the card And no I'm not buying cosmetics or planned to buy the premium card

5 답변Damn everyones brain cells have rotted in my absence... Imagine crying over $10 cosmetics that nobody is gonna care about once the event ends.

Im gonna play, but honestly the attitude you have really shows you should take a break this coming season, just step away bud. Theres no fomo anymore all this stuff is here till the end of the year besides silly cosmetics. I skipped the entirety of witch queen, its nice to step away.
