Legendary Shards
Hey! I was wondering what is the fastest way to get legendary shards/ enough to get something from the monument of lost lights.

Are you talking about ascendant shards? I assumed you meant legendary shards like you said, but I know you need ascendant shards to buy from the monument. If that's what you're looking for, the season pass will give you three. Beyond those, reset each of the vendors for the first time per season; that's 5 more including Trials. From there, most people do master or GM nightfalls for more.

Doing any activity and just playing the game can award you with Legendary equipment and Umbral Engrams that you can turn into Legendary equipment. Dismantling Legendary Equipment will give you Legendary Shards. To my knowledge, other than doing the repeatable Moon Essence quests that award Legendaries, just playing the game is your only option. If I remember right, since Spider left, there's no vendor that sells Legendary Shards anymore for other materials, so Legendary equipment is the only way outside of activity rewards that might sometimes award them.
