Vault space Suggestion - FIXED weapon perk patterns combinations

Is it possible to save weapon perk patterns in collection and player can re-collect them at a price (materials). I mean like a FIXED Weapon Perk combination of the weapon u got in the past, can be saved in collection so u can delete them to empty out a lot of space. I don’t know, just a thought from me

  • What I will like to see, is if we can focus in collections legendary weapons, they dont have to be the current season or current drops, but weapons that if you already acquire you can re-acquire a roll what roll well whatever it drops and you can use materials to focus.

  • We used to have fixed rolls... The community complained because they wanted more RNG. Now that RNG is so high, they want their own fixed crafted rolls.

  • Now that we have a new weapon crafting with Patterns, Just let us turn our old weapons into Patterns that we could shape if we wanted them Back. Say you take your Gnawing Hunger, infuse it in to a Pattern & if you wanted it again, shape one. Level it up & reshape it.

      What you'd essentially want to do is remove the barrier from randomly rolled items not being obtainable from collections and just place an arbitrary time gate on how many you can gamble on per day/server reset. This would also solve the problem of not being able to get class items out of collections as well as the current bug with Reckless not being able to be reclaimed. And then you'd just be talking about fixing collections.

    • They may as well add vault space as it would net the same result.

      • I will again suggest what I believe would actually be a workable solution. Give every weapon a curated roll that drops as your first Drop when you get that weapon, each future weapon drop still has a random roll. This will then allow you to delete that curated roll but pull it out of collections if you want.

      • I can fix the vault even easier. Completely trash the "collections" page. It's only a checklist. You can't reaquire anything, so why have it?

        • Braytech Werewolf is a really good example. This should be how Collections and the Vault works collectively. You collect the loot, you store it in Collections or the Vault for current or future use. Gear deleted out of the vault is lost unless it was stored into Collections initially. Collections can stock up three total of the same weapon.

        • That would be a good idea since we can't acquired certain weapons from our collections that have random rolls , this would give the user in vault space till they find there god roll weapon of that type and till then you'll always have the roll you like sitting in collections but the only problem I can see with this is that bungie would basically have to create entire cloud version of the vault for the entire game of weapons and since bungie has a track record of vaulting content for room I dont know if they would consider this idea amongst other good ideas for the game

        • I’d say take it a step further, all crafted weapons have multiple selectable perks to swap to on the fly depending on what activity your going to use them for. We already had several seasons that weapons can have multiple perks on them, why not on our crafted ones? Would make sense and you not need several versions of the same weapon again. It will take time and efforts to fully upgrade it this way, but that’s grind behind it. Crafted weapons multi perks unlock at weapon level 25 or so, and then several levels beyond to fully get enhanced potential. The more you invest in your god role weapon, the more you can do with it.
