Counterpoint. Cross play works great in pve and I like it. Hardly any issues.

If you would put your trifocals on and clear the gunk from your eyes you would be able to read that he CLEARLY states that it’s matchmaking in Trials and PvP he has an issue with. Or maybe this is just one of those situations where you just click a random post and you get to decide what the content of a post is idk ….

Title: literally: Cross play First line of post: literally: Cross play is a terrible idea. PVP is the supporting argument for the blanket statement of cross play being a terrible idea. Reading comprehension seems to be on the decline. Better first line for post: Cross play in the context of PVP was a bad idea but works well for PVE.

So you assumed the entire content of the post based on the one line in the subject, read the first line and filled In the gaps. Got it. Cuz if you had read the whole thing you would have gotten the complete picture. Reading comprehension requires reading and it’s clear you didn’t.

The subject title is a broad stroke, and yes I do feel in my opinion cross play should be removed. Not everyone is playing on the lastest game consoles which cannot keep up. Now you pair that with pc players that have 0% lag compared, plus cheat software, you have a recipe for disaster. Correct me if I'm wrong. Does Bungie have cheat fail-safes built in for crucible? I don't think they do. I can be wrong, but if they do....it sucks! I feel Destiny was doing just fine before cross play. I'm not a fan of putting your eggs In one basket. Here's another controversial idea. For trials eliminate all exotics. Weapons and armor. Everything else is fair game. My reason is to allow non meta Players to participate on a 100% skill based competition without the help of exotic based or meta based loadouts. I'm sure this will draw more players that usually shy away from Trials to join in.
