No need for body text. Genuine question. Now there is nowhere to go without sweating your -blam!- off
An edit because people don't seem to understand: there is now SBMM in control and it was unannounced. I am a top 0.5% player and now all my quick play lobbies include people that are at, or very near, my ELO. Furthermore, connections in these lobbies are very poor, indicating that the game is going way out of it's way to find people near my skill level thus hurting the quality of the match.
I am not alone in this experience. Many others share this exact experience. If you do not, then you're likely an average or below PVP player so you will not be impacted as much.

As much as it is truly as shame that someone in the top .5% has to play people that are close to their elo, I still can't help but point out how this is suddenly a problem only because now our role models are also experiencing the janky. It was perfectly fine before when other people had this as their constant experience and they were only complaining about it because they were making excuses. But now its an injustice.

10 답변Didn't you know? This is what happens when you totally remove sbmm, normal players stop playing, leaving just the no life's who can't feel as good in other games, to play each other, resulting in the return of sbmm as only the sweats remain. Also crossplay made a lot of players quit, Xbox being removed from gamepass saw numbers drop even more, cheating returning, no pinnacle protection, people feeling like they've wasted their time, time they where forced to endure thanks t bungie awful levelling system, all pushed normal players away.

The minute they decided against Combined Arms coming to D2 while introducing smaller maps into the casual playlist, the game cadence started shifting more towards the competitive scene. Add in Comp and Trials as bandaid solutions with mediocre rank and reward structure align with poor lobby balancing and you got yourself a crap show waiting to happen. It is like they want Destiny to be this end all be all game but don’t want to express much needed QOL updates to handle them. Nerfing and buffing subclasses, exotics and weapons shouldn’t be the only real solutions to sandbox tuning when most maps don’t fit the environment or atmosphere to the modes, player count or playlists.
