D2 LFG for the new raid is completely dead. Theres your outcome for mechanic heavy raids.
Like for real. It's the first week after contest mode and the biggest D2 LFG discord on a friday night and during the day on saturday is completely dead. Almost as dead as the garden LFG was 2 years after it came out.
So what do the elitists say now? Mechanic heavy raids for the regular player are the way to go? I guess not. Never seen less interest in a raid in D2 anymore since year 1. Usually you can't copy the join code fast enough from LFG posts because of the post spam during the first 4-5 weeks of a new raid, this time theres like 1 post every 2 minutes LOL.
This one turned off soo many players with its constant time crunches, different specific roles, wipe mechanics on anything, 27 symbols with different callouts from every group.
This is just not the right community for raids like this. And i stand by that. Catering to content creators ruins this game.

1 답변Absolutely. I wouldn't care but as usual there are not quite pay-to-win but raid-to-win promotions. Currently the only legendary kinetic slot Fusion for example. What ISN'T ignored is endless Twitter communications between 'content creators', of whom they ridiculously term as 'leaders' ! Their gaming is catered to, indeed PAID FOR, by Bungie over their actual customers.

Honestly when you think about it the raid is actually on the easy side when I first did the raid I thought it would be a pain and I might not play it much more other than loot but it turned out it wasn't tough...Like at all even without remembering I think people understand when I say Man with hole in chest or circle being stabbed or teardrop

4 답변The raids not terrible, but it's definitely geared towards hard core gamers and not casuals. I would disagree with it having zero interest on the lfg boards. I've jumped into multiple groups since launch. Personally, I think raids should be more on par with SOTP, DCS, EOW, Crota; as base raids should be more about having a fun adventure and solving moderate difficulty puzzles/mechanics. Then prestige mode should introduce extra mechanics. So for example: base raid for vow should only use 1/3 of the symbols, time limits should be increased slightly, and revive tokens should be removed. Then the prestige mode should use all symbols, have revive tokens, have shorter time frames for encounters, and champions.

1 답변Yeah i didn't even buy this game cause as a solo player i used to look at lfg and always find people and i've been looking lately at the lfg for raids dungeons nightfalls etc. MAN this game is literally DEAD for PC. And just on the release of an expansion? Kinda glad i quit awhile ago and happy i did some research you are correct games just dead on an lfg basis.

Adding new mechanics like remembering patterns, symbols, playing hot potato while shooting ads and boss seems to be Bungies M.O. now. They never learned from Spire of the Stars... Proves Bungie is still lazy won't come up with anything original other than more tedious mechanics that are pointless

9 답변I love raiding, but this is literally the least fun raid they've ever made. Idk why they think people want to spend hours playing with shapes and indescribable pictures. I want to shoot -blam!-. VotD just ain't it. Can't wait for KF to come back, unless they plan to ruin that too.

joined a lfg group at 11 finished around 6pm we got it done no one had any clears from what i understood we struggled and some of them were 1530 and i got the raid exotic first try lol if you go on lfg you have to be ready for any outcome the raid was fun imo just cuz its something you dont like doesnt mean its mechanically bad legit had to wait till yesterday to play the raid bit i watched videos all throughout the week to get familiarized with the mechanics so i wouldn’t be useless join a group that is new to the raid you dont need a sherpa work together and get it done.

And I stand by that. Catering to casuals 24/7 ruins this game.

The raid is not complicated, its been 3 manned and flawlessed already. Its a raid that requires some coms and not everyone mindlessly clearing adds and 1 person doing everything. While not my favorite raid its still good.

4 답변I love the raid a lot. I truly enjoy the mechanics and puzzles. However, I understand that the community treats new raiders horribly. I have been trying my best this past week to carry people through the raid and make a difference. I encourage everyone else to be open to explaining, it does not take long at all. Spread positivity not negativity, new raiders shouldn't need 20+ clears If anyone at all is needing help, my xbox GT is Acts7

Yea mechanic heavy raids are -blam!- boring… taken king raid had some but was really fun… WoTM was really good and the only hard mechanics was that challenge mode where someone had to hit a platform at the right time for DPS… still both were amazing raids.

The fireteams page is filled with less than one minute ago posts, I'm not spending 4 minutes scrolling to see where it stops. What're you on about? This raids nothing compared to last wish or even garden if you ask me. Third encounters the only one I imagine LFG teams to struggle with, but even with me teaching 3 people yesterday we third tried it. Communicate with your fireteam. Stop acting like its the raids fault you can't.
