I swear the pvp community will complain regardless of what changes are made.
1. Primary weapon focused pvp. Players will get team killed. Pvp community complains.
2. Pvp players use special weapons. Pvp community will complain.
3. Pvp players use heavy weapons. Pvp community will complain.
4. Pvp players use supers. Pvp players will complain.
5. Pvp players can’t use supers. Pvp players will complain.
It’s not the game. It’s y’all that make this game toxic. Never happy about anything. Bungie makes changes, half of pvp community is ticked off. Bungie don’t make any changes, the other half of pvp community is ticked off.
The only thing y’all are good at is Blaming everyone else but yourself.

I mean, they make the wrong changes which is why people complain. Year 1 was slow. Slow time to kill, slow ability cooldowns, slow movement, bad weapons. The only strategy was hand holding with rifles which most people did not find fun. So in order to fix all this, the pace of the game was cranked up to 11. Much faster time to kill, special weapons with ammo in extreme abundance, faster cooldowns, faster movement, and a huge powercreep issue with weapons. Instead of four people hand holding and team shooting being the winning strategy, the new winning strategy is putting on a fusion rifle on nightstalker and running around invisible non stop because of how fast your abilities cooldown, killing people in primary gunfights with your special weapon that has infinite ammo. Which is also, according to most players, not a very fun meta. Before this the meta was top tree dawnblade with a sniper that had zero flinch and infinite ammo, on a subclass with abilities that will give you an advantage in every engagement. The sandbox team has no sense of moderation. They can't fix one thing at once, with the exception of the recent cooldowns nerf which is not even noticeable. It's 0 or 100. This is why people complain and you can't blame them. The sandbox is obviously never going to be perfect but it has yet to even come close.

If the PvP community is complaining about everything then my solution is to remove PvP from the game -> No PvP = No complains -> Problem fixed Bungie has proven over the last couple of years that they are unable to keep the PvP part of the game interesting or to fix its glaring problems so why do they keep it in the game and throw money and resources in this bottomless pit? These resources and money could be used much better elsewhere in the game e.g. for future addons (another Forsaken anyone?) and seasons.

I think Flinch rework, map design rework, and server peer to peer rework is something we need to start talking about way more often rather than op weapons and playstyle, because that stuff needing reworking, unlike anything you'll hear most casuals complain about, ruins pvp from the ground up.
