I played a lot of solo Trials this weekend and the absolute majority of the matches I matched with 2 other solo players against a 3-stack squad. I don't have acess to the numbers, but empirically it seems there are lots of people wanting to play both in stacks and solo. But for some reason, the matchmaking always matches a 3-stack squad against 3 solo players. The argument of splitting the mode's playerbase is hard to consider, given that I found so many matches quickly and it was mostly 3 x (1+1+1). Please consider making the Freelance mode permanent. It is so much more balanced and fun.
