Pvp lag is nuts

1 답변with an injection of 3.6 billion, why haven't they gotten off their butts and put pvp/gambit on dedicated? Absolutely inexcusable. Used to have pvp on dedicated and pve on p2p wayyyyyy back. Crucible was actually good then. WTF Bungo? This issue is the main thing keeping me from getting witch queen. 4 snipes to the head, nothing. Opposing player teleports across the map and 1 punches you. WTF. Ridiculous and inexcusable.

Happens most days, p155es me off every time, even when I'm the one getting the ill gotten kill. And with that: - Constant rebound kills. - Often get a kill when I've very clearly missed... By a freaking mile. - Often don't get the hit when I've very clearly aimed accurately - Had to melee someone three times to get the hit, whilst they were right next to me. - People being 1 meter in front of me and shoot me with a pellet shotty, and I've received no damage. - Against someone using the same roll of Main Ingredient as I was, both fired the same time and both got all hits, yet they take little damage and I die, and vice versa in different instances (yes I know fusions are gross in pvp). Dramas typically during crossplay. I love this game, but maaan I do not get some of these issues with other games... not even warzone.

작성자: Xen 2/17/2022 3:43:58 PMYesterday in Iron Banana was the worst yet. Whiffing melee all over (I wone a few exchanges I had no right to, but nice to be on the non-whiffing end for a change). Dead to rights, opening shot. point blank cartesian cord, freehand grip+hipfire+backup plan, took me THREE tries, still didn't get the kill...enemy was, again, point blank, beams going everywhere but to the target. Lately it's been where you can [i]feel [/i]that the client-side prediction has already decided you've lost the fight (you know the feeling, input feels sort of dead, like when that sweaty hunter shotgunner nails you from 764423 feet away and your controller just goes dead); it honestly makes it feel like your reaction time sucks. The shooting through walls/corners is what's really bad and I can't figure out how to exploit it like most seem to do...I pre-aim/fire/predict but my success is slim. I'm on a 1g/1g connection, so I know it isn't me...

10 답변Since the implementation of crossplay, PvP has been pretty much unplayable for me. I’m on Xbox and players on PlayStation always seem to have a lucky horseshoe jammed up their -blam!- like they have a 500ms advantage. PlayStation players are bullet sponges. Take way too long to kill. They are lagging around the map non-stop.

작성자: Fibby 2/13/2022 2:46:23 PMIt has always been an issue with this franchise, it got worse with crossplay, and the past couple of weeks or so most games are basically unplayable because i have to fight against several players that barely take damage no matter how much you shoot them.

4 답변Peer to Peer only "works" if their is a large active population of people, some of those people are playing when you are, they are "Internet close" to you and not using a Potato for a modem. Since most of these conditions aren't true now, it's zero surprise it's a complete Fecal Storm of lag. Regional Dedicated Servers would go a long way to solving these issues.

It is unbearable. This is why i only play destiny pvp when Bungie forces me to in order to obtain some item i want for pve. I love pvp games, i play COD and Halo pvp even more than i play destiny BUT the pvp is so absolutely dreadful in destiny that i find no enjoyment at all.

3 답변Agreed. Cross play in pvp is -blam!-. Only implement it in pve. The connections in this game were laughable before. Now they’re downright unacceptable for a “triple A” title. It feels like we’re playing on 2 soup cans and a string.
