D.A.R.C.I. Is a Heavy Sniper rifle. She needs to be able to overpenetrate AS WELL as have a few extra functions.
I took the time to Masterwork my Dear friend after neglecting her for years. I was very disappointed to see only a marginal gain of stability for all that work. Do you know how hard it is to find heavy? 300 critical shots is insane..... For you to then feel like you got nothing in return. The gun should fire like a scout rifle if stability is the route you were going.
The fact that it is a Heavy Sniper Rifle should have a benefit all by itself. It is a heavy weapon, not a special, so by default it uses larger and harder to find ammo. It should have an intrinsic Armor Pierce upgrade. A boosted Magazine, and the ability to self-reload would make me not feel like I am wasting a good slot for something with more versatility.
(Some people have suggested some really good ideas here, consider reading them and add a few of your own.)

3 답변Does anybody know why Darci is in the heavy slot, and useless? It's was never meant to be a choice of weapon. It's is a tool to measure the range/damage falloff of weapons by yourself(energy and kinetic, can't measure energy if it in that slot). I want Darci to be useful, it is less than likely that it will happen.

1 답변Aim at a champion? The weapon should calibrate to stun that type of champion once it’s exotic perk is active.

5 답변Way off topic but I'll bite. Personally I think darci needs anti barrier rounds and personal assistance should be able to curve bullets and hit multiple targets that are behind the initial target. So if there was a champion and then a group of adds behind it. Shots would over penetrate the target and then hit any adds within a 60 degree cone angle of the target.

1 답변Well, maybe DARCI shouldn't look like -blam!-. It took 3 weapon ornaments before I would even try it.

3 답변If you can somehow make a case that DARCI being better will make hand cannons better you just might get Bungie’s attention.

1 답변The only ability darci needs to have is the ability to break itself down into legendary shards so it can serve some purpose.

2 답변Sadly she is VERY underwhelming and underperforming. I have tried thinking of what they could do to fix it, but there isn’t anything that wouldn’t break the game in some way or another. In fact all snipers are pretty much worthless in the game.
