POLL: Where are you with "The Witch Queen" expansion?
Now, don't get me wrong... It looked nice. It did look pretty big. Problem is, Bungie has always been very good about hyping to the point of over-hyping just to under-deliver. Shadowkeep, anybody? Of course, I hope I'm wrong.
One of my main concerns and one of the biggest reasons I'm still not buying TWQ, even just the base expansion, is because of the Lost Sector exotics system. I genuinely hate that this is the ONLY method to getting new exotic armors to drop. I get so bored and frustrated running the same damn Sector over a dozen times just to get ONE to drop. Plus, this system also makes me feel like I'm in a rush with the game. Gotta get to the highest power possible quickly so I can get these new armors before the next season comes around and the power level goes up and I gotta, more or less, start over again. I hope they will stop doing the legend/master Lost Sectors as being the only source for them and just make them the more "efficient" method while still letting them drop from other activities or in the world just with a non-guarantee that it will be the new armors when you do get one.
Who knows, though? Maybe there will be enough in the free version to sink my teeth into and, maybe, get the base expansion later. I already know the weapon crafting will be available to everyone, though more limited, of course, if you don't own TWQ. Hopefully the Void 3.0 won't be so awful to unlock stuff like it has been with Stasis. Gods, I hate those stupid Aspect bounties. Gotta do something better there.
Bottom line, Bungie knows how to hype but have routinely come-up short on delivery. Shadowkeep and Beyond Light have both been insanely underwhelming and ultimately tedious. I hope, but not holding my breath, that they have actually improved with TWQ. Guess we'll see, right?

1 답변작성자: Tiger 2/10/2022 8:10:03 PMIn the twab today they mentioned that the new exotics can be earned upon completing the legendary campaign, ergo bypassing need for lost sectors for those who don't like them, at least partially

15 답변Are...are you serious? bungie please continue to not listen to this raving lunatic. Please do not ever consider going back to a RNG drop for new gear instead of allowing us to grind low-medium difficulty content for new exotics.

4 답변Lost sectors? It takes 30 min to an hour to get your new exotics on all 3 characters. There's no easier way to get exotics. They are essentially handing them out.

44 답변It looks like a heavily scripted, artificial and desperate marketing tool! I watched the vidoc. Yeah, it's overly hyped up, like artificially hyped up. It's like watching a commercial advertisement. Everything is so scripted!😆😆😆 So artificial. What I really mean is, it's so fake! Cringey fake!😂😂😂 Everything about that vidoc is like a setup for an advertisement, and it's a cringey one at that. Nothing about it says how good the game is, it looked like a scripted advertisement.😂😂😂 Vidoc shmidoc! It was an advertisement!😂😂😂 A scripted, cringey advertisement!!!😂😂😂 While I'm watching it, I have this revelation in my gut that tells me I'm so glad I'm NOT playing this cringey game anymore! 😂😂😂 I still got goosebumps from the cringe while writing this! 😂😂😂 Cringey!!!

5 답변I’m not sure we’ve ever had a better system for new exotics. You do the highest level one, get a route down and bust them out pretty fast. Never took me more than 3 clears to get a new exotic but if I wasn’t satisfied with the roll I could keep going. For a grindy loot game I don’t know what more you can really ask

Like normal, I am in wait and see mode. Pre-ordering is a bad idea IMO, it just tells companies they can release whatever and fix it later as far as I'm concerned. I'm in wait and see mode for WQ, Elden Ring and Horizon Zero Forbidden West.

7 답변I liked everything I saw and heard accept when they tried to hype up how much there is to do. Like no you've said for years we will NEVER see anything forsaken or taken King sized again please stop trying to tell people this year's DLC is huge cos it won't be, now of course it can still be good or great even but it just ticks me off when they try and exaggerate the size

I want to buy it but it’s WAY too expensive. I’ll wait for a sale. Especially since the weapon crafting is not locked behind the storyline. Plus if I’m REALLY itching, I can pay 15 bucks for season of the Risen, compared to 100. Plus we still have Dares to farm here and there and the GoA dungeon. I’ll be honest, if it was 40-50 maybe 60 I’d instantly pre order it.

11 답변작성자: Kiro - 13 2/8/2022 11:35:29 PMDestiny 2: Witch Queen is not what people think. In terms of challenging game play and rewards to chase their will be almost virtually none other then the raid. This expansion is more geared to the quality of life for new players and keeping them in game this time around. Weapons you can craft will be very limited with bad perk pools(think eurpoa or inital re-release of moon guns), this is so new players can feel accomplished and not feel like their time is wasted running a seasonal activity 100 times over to get nothing. While random rolled weapons will be inherently better. If you have 3000k+ hours nothing in Witch Queen will be a challenge or have a reward you desire, but if you are a week end warrior, returning player, or new player the quality of life will be massive.

2 답변Man the "no sale" people sure do have an outsized amount of babble on here compared to how many people checked that box.

I preordered it because I always attempt the day 1 raid, I think doing a raid blindly is your one chance to have the most fun experience possible in this game. No matter how bad the dlc is the day 1 raid is always fun. Im not buying deluxe edition though because I dont see myself sticking around after that
