Title basically. I lived through the bullshit that was D1 as well as D2Y1 and it was awful. You'd see all these good guns or cool missions and have to wait a year to experience them. But im finally drawing my line in the sand. Playstations past of forcing exclusives for Destiny and their current history of stopping crossplay doesnt really sell me on your tweet about uniting friends around the world. I saw the FAQ btw still putting this out here.

The game that Destiny is in current state, Sony buyinf Bungie makes sense. Sony needed to fire back at Microsoft's acquisitons, and Destiny is a game that Bungie cannot handle. So, on paper, this is a deal that can take the Destiny to the next level that Bungie never could. Plus - Destiny at this stage cannot really be made into Exlclusive game though. I highly doubt they will take that route as a whole. However, there may be somethings that are exclusive. We gonna wait and see if they will be cosmetics, emblems, or guns/armor. PS: D2Y1 was awful for Xbox players, not PS players. Even though it still took me 7 months or so to get Hawkmoon

작성자: Clutch_Junky 2/1/2022 2:10:35 AMJust throwing my 2 cents and speculations here... Since Bungie has numerable players on all kinds of platforms, it just doesn't make since to allow exclusive game content. However, I can see Sony developing a CGI TV/Movie series made exclusive to their networks or sold to the highest bidder for publishing. They dropped their streaming service and maybe they are going to use this to create content based on the game and push it out via the PS+ or PS now system for streaming. Or who knows, they start back up their streaming service with this as an exclusive. Personally, I think that's what Sony is after especially since Halo now has its own series on Paramount+. It'll definitely hook me into watching it if it comes to be.

Fwiw Sonys self produced titles with naughty dog, insomniac, Santa Monica and sucker punch have been outright excellent. If they can deploy additional manpower and financial muscle to bungie then there is a good shot the product can get better There is also the chance for cool cross over events with spider man or infamous or uncharted

Making Destiny PS exclusive would be throwing away money. Mountains of it. Take a chill pill. You’ve got nothing to worry about. There will probably be some PS perks that will have no effect on gameplay at some point but Sony/Bungie would be fools to cut themselves off from multi platform revenue streams.

Just face it. Xbox has exclusives, and Playstation has exclusives. The only way to play everything is to have both. Sony and Microsoft want you to own their consoles, and having exclusive content is the way to do that. It's nothing new and makes perfect sense.

15 답변작성자: CookieNiki 1/31/2022 11:23:20 PMWell... I really can't see how's Sony going to get its investment back. However, it explains why Destiny was removed from Gamepass. But even in this, Bungie is erratic: 2000 - Bungie was acquired by Microsoft. 2007 - Bungie left Microsoft to be independent. 2010 - Bungie joined Activision. 2019 - Bungie leaves Activision to be independent. 2022 - Bungie joins Sony. ..... Anyone wanna bet when they'll leave Sony to celebrate their independence as a studio... for the 3rd time? EDIT: as others have pointed out, Bungie was purchased so there's no leaving Sony option. I was misled by Pete Parson's announcement. I thought that it was an Activision-like deal. My bad.

16 답변You’re all talking about Bungie and Sony, when it was activision that secured the exclusivity. Activision is now an entity of Microsoft, if we see exclusives, it’ll be for Xbox and pc, not PlayStation.

10 답변The literally(not fake literal; actual literal) said they are not doing anything that is platform exclusive. Hell, Sony has been increasing their PC ports so them quarantining things doesn’t make sense at this point.
