Title basically. I lived through the bullshit that was D1 as well as D2Y1 and it was awful. You'd see all these good guns or cool missions and have to wait a year to experience them. But im finally drawing my line in the sand. Playstations past of forcing exclusives for Destiny and their current history of stopping crossplay doesnt really sell me on your tweet about uniting friends around the world. I saw the FAQ btw still putting this out here.

3 답변There wont be any exclusives - Bungie said themselves, as well as PS news, that exclusives are not in the current roadmap (till the end of The Final Shape). Past that point, who knows, but I highly, highly doubt it even then because Bungie wants "the same game, across all platforms". Bungie still has full creative/executive control over their company and game, just Sony has its publishing rights and funnels money both ways.
FAQ: Q. As a Destiny 2 player, does Bungie becoming part of PlayStation have any immediate impact on how I play and experience Destiny 2? No. Our commitment to Destiny 2 as a multi-platform game with full Cross Play remains unchanged. We want you to play The Witch Queen on February 22, 2022, on the platform of YOUR choice. Q. Will the Destiny 2 experience on non-PlayStation platforms be impacted by Bungie becoming part of PlayStation? No. We want to maintain the same great experience you already have on your platform of choice. Q. Will any announced seasons, events, packs, or expansions be changed or impacted by Bungie becoming part of PlayStation? No. Bungie retains full creative independence for our games and our community. Our plans for the Light and Dark Saga are unchanged, all the way through The Final Shape in 2024. Q. Will Destiny 2: The Witch Queen include any platform exclusives? No. The Witch Queen will not contain any platform exclusives. Every player should have an amazing Destiny experience, no matter where you choose to play Q. Will cross platform features, like Cross Save, Cross Play, the Destiny 2 Companion App, or third-party apps like Destiny Item Ma-blam!- (DIM) be changed or removed? No. Bungie’s commitment to cross-platform play and social features remains unchanged. We believe games are best shared with friends, wherever they choose to play, and will continue to invest in new features and platforms. Q. Bungie has future games in development, will they now become PlayStation exclusives? No. We want the worlds we are creating to extend to anywhere people play games. We will continue to be self-published, creatively independent, and we will continue to drive one, unified Bungie community. Q. I play Destiny on Steam, Xbox, or Stadia – will my platform still be supported? Yes.
I see your point and agree. There will more than likely be exclusives as a result of this acquisition. I for one will not be happy about it. Not everyone can afford a PS5 (or be lucky to find one) on top of the gaming PC or Xbox they already own.

6 답변As an Xbox player, I'm not too disappointed because the OG creators of Halo aren't all working for Bungie anymore. Besides, we've seen Bungie favor Playstation in the past with their exclusives. So, with this deal, will Xbox and PC players have to deal with exclusive content not being offered to them? Will some activities be time gated? If nothing bad happens, I don't care. Now, will Sony give Bungie more money so they can pump out more content? Will this new content be avaliable for all players? If yes, I don't understand why this is a bad thing. Sony is making Destiny better for everyone.

1 답변This means war against Xbox and pc. PS users will get swords that have wolf pack exploding chain reactions, all the others, a sidearm with feeding frenzy. If you don’t like it, but a PlayStation. Too bad for you hahaha!
