The new "standard" now huh? 3 reissued weapons as a major DLC loot refresh.
Laughable. To everyone saying "Oh but Duty Bound and Silicon Neuroma were year 1 weapons so they are technically new". YOU are the problem.
Bungie gets away with this bold lazyness because of people like you. In what world is this worthy of putting pictures into the TWAB for a major annual DLC as the loot refresh of pillar activities.
In year 1, which apparently everyone hated, we got like 10 new weapons for Trials of the nine, iron banner, crucible, strikes, factions (3 of them), DLC weapons. For each of those activities. With a 4 month DLC. Now what do we get? Maps, strikes, gambit maps, planets, campaigns, weapons removed drom the game via the DCV and a handful of reissues + 5 new seasonal weapons. Yea Activision was the problem LOL.
In addition to the summoner, i bet their "other trials weapon" will be astral horizon. THOSE TWO AND THE SCHOLAR + TOMORROWS ANSWER SHOULD HAVE NEVER BEEN REMOVED IN THE FIRST PLACE. Stop being okay with this. It's really sad what they are delivering now. I could have not written this TWAB without going to my boss like 12 times asking "Is this really okay???".

How many models of weapons do you really expect them to have? And please don't bring up borderlands loot pool they all look the same for the most part too just with a billion different combos of perks & elemental damage

55 답변This is why gaming is so terrible right now. No passion, no artistic vision, no heart. All that's left is reused assets, lack luster content, and cosmetics that cost $20. Candidly, Bungie is merely responding to what gamers pay for. They have sold their souls long ago - what difference does a half-assed update make?

12 답변The new throne world weapons have twice as many items, then you have the raid weapons, any new weapons introduced in an expansion activity (like escalation protocol or alters of sorrow) IF they do one in this expansion, and on top of all that you have the weapons available as part of the seasonal activity dropping the same day as witch queen. So that's 2 points to reissued weapons, I say two because I'm only giving half a point to each duty and silicon because they are getting random rolls which imo does count for something, and 15-20 points for new weapons, 6 throne world, 6 raid weapons (based on the number of new weapons dsc and gos had) and 4 to 6 season weapons based on the past few seasons. So calm down sunshine, the ratio of new to old is well within acceptable levels, imo anyway. Unless you're one of those who isn't purchasing witch queen in which case the lack of new stuff is on you.

46 답변It's honestly so embarrassing, I'd be ashamed to tell people I work at Bungie. A yearly expansion that was delayed and the endgame pvp mode gets an old weapon that shouldn't have been removed to begin with and a hint at a single new one while nightfall gets 2 old guns? In D1 we had yearly resets for trials, banner, crucible, vanguard and all 3 faction items. That's weapons and armor. 6 years later and they reuse 3 old guns and call it a day? Disgustingly bad

At this point I stopped expecting new loot, but just new [i]versions[/i] of existing loot. I have next to no hope for this game, but I play it still because....well, I'm not really sure why I do. I'm just drawn back again and again, and no other games can fill that hole where this game sits. I love the open world fps structure of this game, I just wish Bungie would actually care. It's gotten to the point where I'd rather be at work (doing nothing because it's cold and nobody really buys liquor at this time of year) than play D2

I wish this company would just sell its self, disband the entire franchise and never hear the word Bungie again. They get away with such shady practices. This has been a thing since D1 and it will stay this way throughout destiny's life span. look at all the little groupies that kept asking for D1 destination, raids, et... and guess what happened. This was supposed to be a new game, and instead, the new content is being removed to be replaced by D1 content. The sad thing is, D1 content doesn't work for this game, and it shows how lost the company and their groupies actually are.

4 답변I was told recycle and re issues would happen. Now I feel like I've been duped and drawn and quartered by Bungie. For those who wanna say "I told you so". Congrats you were right. Sunsetting for all it's intents and purposes was made evidently clear today that they wanted to rip guns out and return them as part of a "free" package. I expect it now I guess. Waiting on the black armory re issues next.

Bungie lacks the talent and knowledge on how to make new content. It's easier for them to take away what you already paid for and sell it back to you at a later date. I challenge anyone to prove me wrong. Bungie is the new EA.
