i purchased a physical copy of destiny 2 soon after its release (where red war is on the front). i recently opened destiny 2 after not playing it for a long time (red war was fully playable when i left), i am now unable to play the campaign that is on the front of the physical copy of my game and one of my characters was in the middle of the red war campaign when i quit and is now below the starting power level of characters and my main character that i spent a lot of hours on is 50 power above the minimum (makes sense right?) the only reason i returned to destiny 2 was for the amazing campaign, which is now unplayable. *cough* *cough* also if you bought the game back then you have the same access (or lack there of) to the game that free to play players do. and this might sound like I'm just whining about red war being removed and that is simply because that's exactly what I'm doing.

1 답변Content vaulting is the worst decision Bungie has ever made imo. It makes it to where I can not ever recommend a new player start the game. I wouldn’t even recommend a d1 vet start d2 if they hadn’t before content vaulting. Years of the main story just gone. No way of replaying it. I’ve never bought a game where I couldn’t just start over anytime I wanted. Replay ability is one of the main factors a lot of people focus on when making a game purchase. Can’t do that with D2. Even though the games still online and being supported you can’t play years worth of content. Horrible decision on Bungies behalf.

They should make a campaign mode. It would have a better story layout along with the correct order. That way it can give new Lights the opportunity to enjoy the story without missing parts or the story being in complete disordered.

1 답변Day 1 vets: Yeah I know Hawthorne... she saved us after Ghaul took our light and left us to die. She took us back to the farm and gave us a place to live while we got our light back. New lights: Who is Gary and why is there a bird lady at the tower?

It really sucks for new players, that they have to watch a byf video to understand wtf is going on in this game, instead of experiencing it for themselfs. S-tier lore, F-tier storytelling, Z-tier way to optimize the game via a DCV.

From what I've read about it... Your comment falls under the 'thats subjective' bracket.

Red war wasn't the best but I do believe it is one of their better ones. I put it above BL and SK. But yeah, I don't agree with the fact that we have Destiny 2, but we don't have the D2 vanilla base game. Not bashing on them but that was literally one of the worst mistakes they could've made🤦🏾♂️

7 답변The only way that would be possible would be if Bungie dropped support of last gen consoles. Their memory limits simply put a ceiling on how big this game can get and still run properly.
