I wonder what Cabal or Eliksni Guardian would look like lore and gameplay wise

Not really. They would work the same, the weapons that manifest would be different. IE a cabal golden gun would effectively work the same but the weapon in hand would of the cabal variety. You notice how in the WQ trailer, Hive Guardian abilities look a little similar to ours. Which is a good thing. Narratively speaking, the powers belong more so to their respective Gods then to us users of it. So we can tweak it to fit our species. The hidden gem this reveals was Ghaul’s Light form after we killed him and he revived himself. That shows the true power of what Light can be for us. But something keeps us from it.

If there were ever to be an Eliksni guardian or guardians, they wouldn’t be playable characters. Trying to maker them work would be a nightmare in balance. Even if they had the exact same abilities as us, they’re much taller, assuming they’d be captain class, and they have four arms for starters. Don’t get me wrong, I love the idea but to make them playable characters would be a huge undertaking.

4 답변I made a post a while ago with ideas for a fallen captain class. Solar super could summon an over charged scorched cannon Void super could summon a servetor that buffs nearby allies with an overshield and generate ammo bricks. It will also attacks nearby enemies. If you die while active, the servetor will roam around attacking enemies Arc super would dual wield arc swords and be similar to D1 blade dancer, but with blink teleport. For class abilities they could place web mines or summon a support shank. The support shank will buff recovery and resilience while attacking enemies, but reduce mobility.

2 답변I’d like to see Eliksni guardians use more elegant techniques for their supers. I can only assume the Cabal are titans but bigger. Here’s an idea that will surely never happen! What if each class had an additional race from an enemy faction along with the 3 base races? Hunters could have Eliksni, titans could have the Cabal, and I don’t know what warlocks would have so I guess we’ll wait and see who we make peace with next. Maybe Krill if we end up curing some Hive in Witch Queen?
