That couldn't be more wrong. Future legendaries would roll with new perks older Adepts don't have. Imagine a Primary with Golden Tricorn for example. Secondly, this happens anyway. Why would I use any other Legendary Pulse Rifle in PvE over my Adept Messenger with Rapid Hit and One For All in PvE?

Just on messenger rapid hit + kill clip/ despacito are overall better and more practical options. And even if you prefer OFA the 2 perks i mentionned offers a different gameplay experience (myself i truly hate ofa because i dont like having to hit 3 ennemies in order to get a not so insane damage boost) And even if you have different godroll messengers, there is still perks combination/archetype that works better somewhere else / are an option. Because you know...its not because something is the best in slot that you HAVE to use it. There is many pulse riffles doing a wonderfull job (if not better) than messenger in both pvp and pve. My favourite one for pve and especially GM's is a rapid hit kill clipe sacred provenance. And in pvp a good old darkest before if a melting machine.

It's just a rapid fire with kill clip on and One For All will out damage it and in end game content, you aren't activating clip consistently as OFA which against bullet sponges, you only need to drag two bursts through crowds of enemies. OFA+Rapid Messenger is the best PvE Pulse Rifle period. There are no Pulse Rifles doing better in the Kinetic slot so just stop. It has the best stats, adept mods, and masterwork stat bonuses and you dont need a kill to activate its stability and reload from Rapid Hit on Master difficulty and up and you dont need a kill to easily get an 8 second damage boost. Never mention Desperado in PvE ever again. This isn't about what your favorite is either. Messenger outranges Sacred Prov and procs its damage perk more consistently and again I never said anything about PvP and if I did, Messenger with Desperado or Headseeker still has more range and a faster TTK than Sacred prov.
