Transgeder Splash Screen
Dear Bungie, why is there a transgender splash screen in Destiny 2? We understand your corporate core values. Most, if not all corporations, have similar core values. we agree with them and practice them daily. As a heterosexual, I personally don't care what gender, -blam!- , color, whatever anyone identifies with. We, as guardians come to Bungie to play Destiny 2 and to get away from the politics associated with anything , I mean anything. We respect your corporate core values but splashing your core values on the game screen really isn't necessary is it?

Be careful. I got banned for asking when we were getting an emblem for a certain group of people. Then I appealed it and it was denied. A certain color of people have no rights anymore. I think all this stuff needs to stay out of video games. I play games to get away from the real world. I respect bungie s efforts to support different groups but this is not the place for it

5 답변Respecting people, and having an understanding that this is not political. That's like saying accepting someone who is of different nationality or ethnicity is political. It's basic human rights for people. Are you effected by someone who is different? no. Are you harmed by bungie accepting that not everyone is born to an outdated identification system? No. It's simply them saying "Love thy neighbor". To accept people that have finally been able to be themselves.

1 답변Last season was when Bungie went out of their way to shove their views and politics in our face, and we paid them to do it. They even took Hillary Clinton's campaign slogan and made it part of the game. How many times did you hear "Stronger Together"? You were forced to change your view and actually applaude the death of Lakshmi as you walked over her corpse.

1 답변Politics and politically correct culture are ruining gaming. Just make good games and stop shoving some political agenda down our throats. I used to think Bungie might be a pretty cool place to work back in D1, but I’d honestly bet it’s a pretty toxic environment for anyone who doesn’t agree with or simply doesn’t care for Bungie’s politically correct culture nonsense.

17 답변The biggest joke is they remove your comments and posts if they are political in any way. Then jam their politics down everyone’s throat for a few virus signal points. This reminds me of the time the blizzard ceo (another great company...) did the press release about them being forced to punish chung lee that heartstone winner because they don’t tolerate politics while the guy talking had a gay pride pin on his shirt. Regardless of my agreement or not I hate when company’s that shouldn’t and claim to not have anything to do with politics stop realizing they are using their medium to push them. This is the same company who lost its grip on Veterans Day. I really want them to be telling me what to think.

They have to virtue signal, otherwise we wouldn't know how "woke" they are...other than being perpetually offended that's all most people do anymore. It's sad really, you can't even play a video game about shooting aliens without political agendas being constantly shoved in your face. I feel sorry for the next generation, it's only getting worse unfortunately.

60 답변When they gave a message about firefighters, no one cared. When they gave a message about BLM, no one cared. When they gave a message about supporting women in the workplace, no one cared. When they have a message about trans, you all suddenly were so offended and came crying on here to have that message removed. If nothing at all, I’m glad they made that message because now I know all the disgusting people on here.

6 답변I think it's fine. They are just supporting a new group this time around. As they rotate through causes, I'm waiting for my "white heterosexual male" support emblem to become available. I'm sure Bungie is not biased or virtue-signalling in the least.

It is a literal splash screen, it is literally pixels on a screen. If you don’t want to read it then ignore it. Who cares what bungie does this is their game. Like seriously, how much more will people whine about something as insignificant as words on a screen. There is like 0 factors making you read it. Just oh I don’t know, press the X button on the Xbox or the PlayStation ion or click on pc. Not that hard. No one forces you to read it you can click a button and it goes away. A single little splash text and this is how the community reacts dang. Try to be less whiny people sheesh. This splash happened like 2 months ago and people are still whining. Like ignore it, no one forces you to read it you can click the screen and boom it disappears. Hope this helped. Edit: I have reread the post and I apologize for being like stupid, but seriously it is just a few words. It doesn’t really matter that much, just ignore it sorry if I sound like a turd but like still.

They could of given us a mustache emblem and it would of been awesome.
