Put old content for free into the new dlc
I think that would be a good way to genrate new players

I feel like once all this goes live and everyone sees it in action and feels the effects of it, they will start losing players and refunding WQ for some people, probably nothing game killing, but I hope they question how they’re doing this. If you’re willing to drop $100 for the the next year of the game, you should be able to access everything in the game.

작성자: what's a primary? 12/3/2021 11:25:15 AMI pay for destiny 2 but the only thing I see ingame is dlc, season pass stuff what a joke, where my refund for d2 and all the stuff they vaulted. Imagine being so blind look at the Halloween event they literally sold stuff for silver just to sell it a week later or 2 for dust slap in the face for the people that use silver -blam!- cowards.

작성자: TheArtist 12/2/2021 12:13:52 PMProbably can't do it. Destiny 1 and Destiny 2 content up to Forsaken were made with money and resources from Activision. So they hold an ownership stake in that content most likely. Therefore there are probably limits to what Bungie can do with it before Activision asks to get paid. Plus there is a limit to how big the game can get, and still run on last-gen consoles (see Cyberpunk 2077).

2 답변Forsaken should’ve been made free when they DCV’d Year 1. But no, now only the campaign will be free in a week for a grand total of….. drumroll….. three months before it’s sunset.

2 답변Probably see something similar middle of the year, maybe around season 18. I think they are going to do something similar to bringing back VOG. I think they said they were bringing another legacy raid back but do not remember the source.

No they will loose precious money when they can sell it back to you later on. Soon the red war will be purchasable for only £40 along side a new dlc that costs £100 since prices are going up and up for less and less content

12 답변The point of removing the old content was that there's no room for it. The file size for the game is already bordering on too big as it is.

1 답변No one’s fooled by the F2P sticker. Everyone knows destiny is a €£$100/y game that indiscriminately removes access to past paid content to resell it at a later date. In fact, the Destiny playerbase is mostly the same since years now. >60% play it as a hobby (daily/weekly), and >30% consume/burn content (read come and go). The percentage of players who are 100% F2P is inconsequential. Just as all twitch viewers are players, except obviously all those fake ones.

And you want them to put it back? Are you new here? Edit: Unless you are talking about recycling old content, then correct, they are already doing that now. They are even charging it again with real money for an old recycled rocket launcher for the 3rd time!
