Recently I had the urge to rewatch the season that kick started its resurgence. The one with Christopher Eccleston and Billie Piper.
And I have to say, that stuff was even better then I remember. Being able to pick up on the small details and seing the characters have so much time to be given lots of characterization.
And the effort they go into making it feel realistic in the set design and roles people play.
I just love it so much.
1 spoiler issue though.
Bad wolf. If Rose was the one who sent that message across time and space to gift the inspiration to not give up and complete the circle to her becoming... Essentially a god for a few minutes.
Then how did it happen the first time to kick start those events???
Time Travel am I right?!
1 답변Really enjoyed it. Got into it during the middle of Tennant’s run, and kept watching it till the end of Capaldi. Favorite episode was arguably 11’s first episode. Personally, of course.

1 답변Love it. The Fourth Doctor is my favorite. Genesis of the Daleks is a fantastic story.

2 답변I think it’s amazing;, been a fan since I was a wee small boy. Currently doing a marathon since I’ve just resubscribed to Britbox, so I have all (most) of the classic series at my fingertips. On episode 2 of The Keys of Marinus (1963), so I have a long way to go lol. The classic series will always be my favourite but I try to keep up with the new ones. The current series and Doctor is really good actually, and I’ll be sad to see her go come the new year.

3 답변Eccleston best. Watched 9th-12th Doctors fully and enjoyed it, but have no interest in it even as a rewatch.

2 답변The first three actors were great. Then it just dived off with Capaldi. Now we've got what just feels like a fangirl cosplayer with whatif style stories.

3 답변I haven’t seen that much of it, but the ones I have seen are good. I’ve only seen two of the Doctors, though. Can’t tell you which ones, but.. You know that scene, where it’s 7ish seconds of security footage watching a Weeping Angel on loop? Then, after everyone leaves the room, the Angel starts to move? That scene always freaks me out. I love it.

1 답변Couldn't connect with Christopher Eccleston in the role after watching him in -blam!- and Shallow Grave so never went back to it. A shame really because I loved watching Dr Who as a kid.. Tom Baker being my fave.

5 답변작성자: Cobravert 11/29/2021 2:16:53 PMI do not think about Dr. Who. The Doctor I first recall seeing was the frizzy headed one back in the early 80's in our college dorm. Being an avid Star Wars fan, the show offended my sci-fi sensibilities (yeah, I know how that probably comes off) and just could not get into this schlocky, obviously run on a shoe string budget, poorly fleshed out, weird show. I have seen a couple shows of later Doctors, and admit that the effects have gotten better, but it's just not something I'll ever get into.
