2 답변
Please change this to glimmer or somthing, such a waste of materials.
It’s also one of the main reasons a lot of us are running out of vault space, if we could change the elemental affinity for a negligible amount we wouldn’t need 50,000 different pieces of armor to create “builds.” A lot of things need to be done to change the process. I’m going to become a Martian citizen and maybe they’ll hire me with great fanfare and we can get some common sense fixes done.

4 답변작성자: Vale 11/25/2021 8:21:22 PMwish they would just drop the elemental part of armor and mods just have mods universal so we can actually make builds Armor elements honestly do nothing but get in the way

The whole masterwork system was way better just before Shadowkeep. It was dirt expensive, but it was only cores... and then they went and added two other materials that are nearly impossible for players who don't play the hard stuff to get. It got really elitist. Once you've masterworked your armor, you should not have to spend anymore of those masterworking materials on it even if you want to change element.

4 답변Armor crafting/modding put me off when they introduced it. One reason I dropped the game and don't play anymore. It's a failed attempt at making the game unique and interesting, but got complicated and wasteful instead. It's supposed to enhance gaming experience, but it does the opposite instead. More like an annoyance instead. Just my opinion.

3 답변작성자: ForeverLaxx 11/24/2021 9:49:51 AMNot to mention that when mods get nerfed, changed, or new ones are introduced (the Stasis kickstart mods, for example), entire builds can be forced to change and that means you have to dump more mats into getting the right elements on multiple pieces of armor, often including that Exotic you're trying to build around. The whole game forces you to grind endlessly just so you can even begin playing it, then once you settle on a build, you're forced to grind endlessly just to get the right weapons or prepare for a future "balance adjustment" that directly impacts what you're doing. People don't really play Destiny anymore. You either spend more time in-game than you do at your job, or you're left behind. EDIT: And that doesn't even take into account the upcoming changes to ability cooldowns and stat distribution. Some entire builds can be completely unusable once that goes live and you've gotta regrind all the armor all over again for different stats to compensate the changes.

6 답변Imagine destiny but with outriders build crafting costs and transmog system costs *chefs kiss* Might actually be a fun experience and not a shitty choice that could cost you hours of grinding.

4 답변I think maybe have 2 types of master work option for exotics. 1. As it is now, for a fixed element. 2. charge like 7-10 golf balls and more mats, but you can then change the element whenever you like.

3 답변Or they should just remove all armor mods affinity so we can slot whatever mods we want!

작성자: Sweet Lew 88 11/26/2021 1:56:20 AMThat's why you have multiple of the same armor so you don't need to change it. We need to adapt to the game, Bungie probably won't change it for us to make it less grindy. Bungie says destiny is for hardcore players, not casuals. People keep throwing away rare materials at the postmaster, I guess this is a place they can use it?
-
Or maybe they should just remove all cost associated with "changing" things on armor and weapons. Why do I have to pay every time I want to swap a mod? Why do I have to pay the same as masterworking a piece of armor just to change the element. Why are there so many costs for things that I've already worked on? After thousands of hours I've spent on destiny, I should never have to go "I can't run that mod, I don't have a piece of armor that I can slot it into", not because I don't actually have armor required for it, but simply because I'm not spending golf balls to change an element for one activity.

It would reduce vault space for those who have multiple same items with different elements. But it would greatly reduce the grind to get the item you want with the element or get the current resources to change the items element. In this specific scenario which side do you think Bungie would land on?

2 답변In master Templar I watched our relic rubber change the affinity of his chest 3 times, because there was confusion over what damage type he was taking most. That confusion cost him 9 shards. Yeah, the price is too damn high.

작성자: Demon_XXVII 11/24/2021 7:54:43 PMOnce a piece of armour is fully upgraded (10) Then the energy elements (Solar/Void/Arc/Stasis & any other new additions) should be interchangeable for the cost of glimmer (Also, when the mods for each element have been acquired/slotted - they should be free to switch out) Say 20000 to switch it around (no cap) & then that sub element’s mods can be used There’s too much grind in the game to try get perfect armour stats - just to have to try chase down (RNG 🤬🤯) a near identical legendary/exotic piece to swap out (keeping those stats) Losing ascendant shards is (for many players) very costly Do the same with Weaponry Once fully masterworked - allow a change of masterwork (Range/Stability/Reload etc) itself….again, 20000 glimmer (change it as many times as you like) I could really promote a rebuild of weapons - ALL that particular weapon’s perks & masterworks to be seen (think DIM/Light GG/D2 Gunsmith Apps) earned, acquired & stored in collections (no need to vault, as all earned perks are switchable) & upgraded properly via Banshee & Ada1 Mods are available via bounties & Armour (starting with utilising every point & redistribution of points (total) & changes (as seen above) to the elements Think Division 2 Bench! Edit: Make the Artefact mods intrinsic too Example: unlocking pulse rifle mods in artefact automatically works with any pulse rifle equipped - no need to slot into armour

58 답변작성자: Olórin 11/25/2021 12:18:44 PMI personally feel that once an Armour piece is masterworked, it should only take an Upgrade Module to change its Element. Thats just my opinion. I also feel like Raid gear should be able to equip mods without any Armour energy cost. Or... Have Raid Mods replaced with Raid Armour Set Pieces with unique perk activations. The more Armour Set Pieces you have equipped the more passives/perks/benefits you unlock inside that related Raid. Intrinsically ofcourse, think of games like Diablo that have set piece gear that synergies with each other. ^ Maybe even incorporate Trials gear as set pieces that could give bonus perks/passives/attributes for when in Trials or PvP, again more set pieces equipped the more benefits.

I think once you fully upgrade a piece of armor, it should only cost a few cores or even just an upgrade module to change its element. The masterwork system in this game is awful and a little too expensive..It must be extremely difficult for those who don't really play that much and don't get a chance to farm GM's or even Master Vog for golf balls. The funniest thing I've seen is buying 1 Enhancement Prisms for 400 Legendary Shards when you can just buy it from the tower for so much less lol doesn't make sense like most things in this game.
