Weapons more predominant?
You mean... people need to aim?
Aiming isn’t hard, of course. Everything in this game is on training wheels. But there’s always gonna be someone who can’t hit shots to save their life, dies, and rage posts on the forums.
I can’t wait to feel all the salt.

It’s how some weapons will be seen as “overpowered” because people can’t use their abilities to help them beat certain weapons. Crimson is absolutely bonkers on Console because of flinch. Only way to beat it for me on my Hunter was to get as close as possible.

Crimson is only strong on console because it’s easy to use and offers insane flinch. Fortunately, if you hit first shot, the weapon becomes a joke. Explosive hand cannons are extremely strong, far better than crimson for 3v3. And what other weapons are you talking about? Heir got nerfed. Still strong, but it’s a heavy. Maybe I’m just elitist. D2Y1 was my favorite time because I couldn’t lose a gunfight to chance. Either I got outgunned or hit my shots perfectly, and could go on winstreaks where I never lost a single gunfight. Destiny is edging back towards that, and while I don’t want special weapons gone, I shouldn’t get RNG flinched into the head. Ever. I’m glad weapons are taking the focus again.

Nothing wrong with that. I consider myself a slightly above average PvP player. In the beta for D2 i got a We Ran Out of Medals with double primaries. But i prefer Destiny over other fast paced games like CoD because the balance between getting killed by abilities and weapons.
