Gambit is not fun how it is right now. The invasion part of it just sucks all the Fun out. I’m just going to say that either give gambit real attention or put it into the DCV and bring it back when you have fixed it.

1 답변This is why you shouldn’t post on here immediately after losing a match. You do know invasions have been around forever right?

1 답변Gambit is fine, just play your three matches for the reward, each round should last about 2-3 minutes long as long as the enemy team is winning. Gambit got easy, way easy, its better than 2-3 rounds a match, each lasting 5-15 minutes long, like old Gambit. Gambit Prime was my favorite mode, those were like this new Gambit, except the boss had a nice long timeout between melting, rounds would last between 10-30 minutes and you could easily get close to 100 kills a game, maybe a few team wipes with Xenophage, good times, you really had to be there. Gambits like gambling, trust...-A Dredgen.
Prime and T3 Reckoning were the best of Gambit, its ok, its super easy now, except its rare to see anyone with more than 40 kills a match.
They are significantly more problematic if nobody is communicating, which is why playing it with at least 1-2 friends makes a world of difference. There are two things you need if you want to make short work of an invader, outside of call outs from teammates. A good hard hitting weapon that has medium to long range killing power. A linear fusion, a homing rocket launcher, a sniper rifle, Jotunn, an LMG with good range, and even a caster frame sword. Heck, if you are really good with scout rifles that can work too, it’s just not as effective as something with high burst damage that gives them no time to counter attack. Knowledge of how they spawn. As a general rule it seems, the game will not spawn an invader where an enemy wave is. That doesn’t mean an enemy wave won’t spawn where the invader is. The invader will not spawn at your spawn. So this means you have at worst a 50/50 guess of where they spawn. On Earth they rarely spawn in ruins, and in Nessus they rarely spawn at drill. When they invade you run toward a likely area they could have spawned and look at your radar for confirmation. If you get there fast enough you can be ready for them well before they’re ready for you.

1 답변i've played MANY gambit matches where we were losing miserably then once the other team got their boss and stopped sending blockers, we were able to catch up and win, or get within a couple boss-health points of winning. and then, you're right, there's also the games that are just shutouts because things go wrong.
