I recently snagged the fiddling emote and felt it would be better if it had a melody tied to it. That got me thinking. Why don't emotes make sounds? It might take some extra work but considering the emotes are already monetized I don't see cost as prohibitive. Would it be too annoying for other players? Isn't that the point of emotes anyways? I can imagine finishing a raid and having the gang get together to celebrate with music and cowbells and such. What do you guys think about it?
Edit: I think the best option would be to add another sound slider for emote sounds

1 답변I think more emotes should have even small audio ques. I wish all guitar emotes have any music, I would love to hear Devil's Lair music when I use the emote!

1 답변There’s a few that do. The sad trombone, the cheer emote and the best one of all- the Dave Samuels sound effects emote- Unbridled Enthusiasm. There needs to be more though.

1 답변SAME, I was disappointed, hoping for a similar sound of “The Devil Went Down to Georgia” 😈

Guitar riff, flipping tables, 6-shooter, even dancing emotes with their on looped sound bite... Endless possible combinations. As long as there is a "mute: emote" function, or somehow separate volume or otherwise just incorporate into game sounds, then nobody would have negative perspective, because it could be turned off, and also assigned by a branch that doesn't exist yet (so over tasking wouldn't be a problem). It looks like emotes don't take up much space either (according to outcome of Bungie shrinking file size).

1 답변I think a lot of them tied to references and music would be a bureaucratic nightmare with all the legal things involved. But simple emotes should have them, for sure.

작성자: Spawn Of Apathy 11/15/2021 8:05:33 PMYeah, none of the guitar emotes, and I think there’s like 3 or 4, have audio either. A real shame. You’d think they didn’t hire a composer or something for their games. Somebody that could put together a riff or four. Even if it’s just various acoustic versions of Destiny songs. I mean do they not own the licenses to their own soundtrack? lol

4 답변Emotes like the cowbell one do have sound. It just isn’t loud so it’s not a bother to other players. The fiddle one is maybe the only one and that’s because song rights are actually stupid -blam!- expensive.

2 답변Some do and I really wish they didn’t. Not that I don’t love hearing all the trumpets or that stupid green emote with the glasses.
