Cannot enable cross save without 120+ day delay? Any way to get an over ride or an exception?
I'm in the process of transitioning from playstation to PC. All of my true account progress has been completed on console. I enabled cross save about a year ago and unfortunately do not have access to the steam account that I connected with. I have only played on console for the last year.
I'd like to link my bungie profile to my new steam account so I can continue to play on PC. The website says there is a 90 day penalty for disabling cross save to discourage cheaters/recovs. On top of this, there is a protection in place that prevents you from unlinking accounts after purchasing silver. I bought silver for the season pass, but my current balance is zero. The unlinking page says that I have to wait 32 days before I can unlink my accounts, then wait 90 days before being able to add my new steam account.
Am I understanding this correctly? I'd prefer to keep playing the game rather than take a 4 month break.

Hi there. That is correct—if you have a Silver lockout, you have to wait that out, and disabling Cross Save for any reason results in another 90-day lockout. There are no exceptions to these policies. That said, you mentioned not having access to the current linked Steam account. Be aware that in order to disable Cross Save and unlink that account, you will have to be able to authenticate it. Bungie cannot help you remove that account if you can't log into it.
